We booked the hotel for 2 nights and only stayed 1. We were very disappointed on room as it was uncomfortable & noisy! Our bed was two single beds pushed together, there was a smell of false tan from the sheets, only 2 flat pillows and you couldn't watch the TV from the bed as it was practically on the ground. We were looking for a relaxing weekend together but only got 3 hour sleep due to the noise. The room was uninspiring and dated looking, with a dirty carpet and pen along the wall; we didn't want to spend any time there! |

Good value in bar food, nice breakfast, close to town, ease of check in, complimentary daily paper homely atmosphere, good parking bathroom could do with an upgrade, no shower mat in bath- could be dangerous. We would have liked tea making facility in room. TV's in bar seemes to be showing sport most of the time. We watched our favourite programme in room. Would have been nice to be able to watch in bar & have a drink, particularly as there were very few in bar & no one seemed to be particularly interested in the sport |

Staff at desk were very helpful. Hotel room was comfortable and very well designed. Swimming pool lovely. Kayne's bistro delicious and quick to serve. Overall very impressed! I felt the staff at breakfast could have been a lot more friendly and efficient. I asked 3 separate waiters for a simple pot of hot water and it was only on reminding one of them after about 12 minutes that it appeared. Other than that everything was perfect! |

Its conveniently located, not quite in city centre but walking distance. Staff are very friendly and willing to help in everyway. Our room had the roof view and its not that nice, and also they need to notify thair customers that their they have a problem with the knob when you are trying to open the door. Its seems kine this applies to some rooms, because one of the guest was also having a problem opening their door. |

Good location. The room decor is very dated and drab. The view is towards a concrete wall at the rear. Breakfast was of very average quality. Overall, the hotel is very average, bland and not as upmarket as either its rating or price tag would lead you to believe. The tiny, ancient tv was too low to be watched in bed. I would have expected additional pillows in the wardrobe. In my opinion, this hotel falls far short of a four star standard. |

it was perfectly located, not right in the centre of town but just the right distance outside of it so it only took 5 minutes to walk anywhere. the food was lovely and the staff were pleasant and helpful. |

Staff were pleasant, room was clean. It was very busy for breakfast so we had to wait for a table, but it wasn't too long a wait. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was efficent. The hotel itself has a decent location being only a brisk five minute walk from the town centre. We were not impressed with the room itself. While the room was clean it smelled stale. The decor was dated, the furniture shabby looking and most importantly the bed and pillows were not at all comfortable |
