Principally its location but then Dublin is a fairly small city so maybe most hotels are central. The receptionist was very helpful and when I asked him about public carparks he said there was a free space in the small backyard. That was great as we had just finished touring Ireland and had 3 days in Dublin prior to leaving for the airport - public parking would have cost us probably 20 or 30 euros a day. I had been 'warned' from reading other reviews that this hotel was for people who intended to spend most of their time outside the hotel - which was our case. It basically has just a small lobby and then the rooms above a pub which seems to belong to the hotel. The room was a good size but rather dowdy - all in brown with functional furniture. But again, it suited our purposes and our pockets. I did notice outside our window a narrow little street and the exit of a night club (also mentioned in other reviews). Luckily there was no action during our stay but I doubt whether the double glazed windows would keep the noise of latenight revellers from disturbing ones sleep.

The location was good as I was at a conference at the Radisson Blu which was 4mins walk away. I stayed 3 nights at the Drury Court & had hardly any sleep. Even though I was on the 5th floor the noise from the night clubs & drinkers on the streets was horrendous even with ear plugs!

It's location - close to the event we were attending! The staff were friendly and the room comfortable and clean - the bed was particularly comfortable. The noise - some of the reviews had spoken about the noise but nothing could have prepared me for the experience - definately not a hotel to stay in if you are interested in sleep!

This hotel is great value for money, rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was very central, close to Temple Bar and Stephen's Green. The hotel is right next to a nightclub so can get quite noisy particularly on a Friday night however this is likely to be the case in any central hotel in Dublin.

I like the location of this hotel although parking is an issue. The staff are nice. Hotel is basic so dont think you are walking into an ultra modern facility. Rooms are big but dated which is ok if you are on business. All in all a good place to overnight.

It's location is excellent when visiting the city for business or pleasure. It is a budget hotel and lives up to its name - I have no criticism of it.

We were there for New Year in Dublin and chose the hotel because of its location. It was near to shops, College green, where the New Year's Eve celebration was being held, and, in the opposite direction, the Concert Hall, where we enjoyed a New Year's Day Viennese concert. The staff were excellent and when we had a problem with a window not shutting properly they promptly moved us to another room. Breakfast was not included and on occasions we feel ripped off by the price as an extra. But here we had the best continental breakfast we have had — cereals, fresh fruit, fresh cooked meats and excellent local cheese and even smoked salmon. And all for 7.95 euros. Great value. Full Irish breakfast was 9.95 euros, although we did not opt for that at the hotel.
