Everything else the hotel is way over priced for what u get a glorified hostel
Staff attitude No hot water day one Noisey guests Constant traffic noise (they supply ear plugs !!) In need of desperate decor update Leisure facilities not at hotel as website suggests
Good staff. Good food. Good service. Loved that breakfast was open until 12 so could have a lie in. Great friendly place within walking distance to everything. Great live music every night with an underground nightclub at weekends. Loved it
Nothing about this hotel not to like. Will Deffinately stay there again.
Location of hotel, plenty of plug sockets, very handy when getting ready for a night out, earplugs were not required in our room. I think it depends on where you are in the hotel. Hairdryer was supplied & it was good not a rubbish one.
Didn't stand out very well, in fact we walked right passed it!
location - close to everything
quite heavy noise from traffic all day and night, and from people shouting and partying on the street - until 4 am
Uncomfortable, noisy rooms. Quite overpriced for a mediocre hotel.
The sink taps were very stiff, cleaning was moderate and the room itself was at best average
I like the unbeatable location of this hotel. All major attractions are within a short walks. Between Trinity College and Dublin Castle. Helpful staff. Very easy to navigate from here. Many places to eat, pubs to drink and find live music, and many 24 hours open supermarket to shop from.
If you are going the stay in the middle of Temple Bar area, you should know what you are getting into. It is the heart of entertainment in Dublin and can be noisy. I used good ear plugs and had perfect 4 nights of sleep though. Some rooms in this hotel are too small. Should not be assigned to couples, barely to singles. We had #101, corner room (terribly small for 2 people) and changed it to #202 and problem solved.Hotel has a pub with live music downstairs. You may like or dislike this. :)
The personal was really kind, beds comfortable, and the pub has good food
very small room
Staff very friendly and perfect location. Adequate enough for a night or two.
Single room was extremely small. Bed pillows old and flat, no extra blankets. WiFi very slow and didn't work well in the room.
The service, view, location m the best was the bed. So comfortable :)
The bright lights outside my window that was on until 1:00
The location is very good and the staff do the best they can.
Where to start? It was almost impossible to get a good night's sleep due to the noise from the bar downstairs, and the sound of the mice living in the walls. Good thing they supply earplugs in the room. All food is served in the bar, which is very expensive, and the quality of the food is generally poor. There is also a long wait time for breakfast and late serving times, which makes it unsuitable for business travellers. The staff do the best they can but the hotel itself is very bad quality and should be avoided.
Room, Staff, Location, Condition of room all ok for a night out in the capitol.
It felt like I was sleeping on the street - the noise from the taxis beeping each time the lights changed at the Georges St. junction. Stopped around 5 AM. Expected it to be noisy based on location but thought it would be due to music, shouting etc but it wasn't. Fix/Soundproof that 'traditional' unlockable sash window, guys!
-- Friendly welcome. -- Nice large and cosy room. -- Very central location
-- There was no hot water for the majority of our stay. -- The "double" room which we had asked for was actually two divans shoved together, which would be okay, if the divans were the same height. Having a ridge in the middle of the bed is not comfy -- Outside noise. The windows don't block it at all.
Trinity Bar was comfortable, friendly staff & nice atmosphere as alaways. Very polite customer service at reception on checking out time.
Poor customer service at reception on arrival, dismissive manner. Especially as I had been delayed in heavy traffic in the city, so arriving at my hotel should have been a more pleasant experience.
Right in the heart of the Temple Bar area so surrounded by restaurants and pubs with live music.
Noisy at night (this is the first hotel I've been to that actually provides ear-plugs in the room). Also breakfast doesn't start until 8.00 which is ok for tourists but too late if you have to work.
Excellent location, close to everything
very noisy, overlooking a busy street also although we requested a no smoking room, it had been occupied by smokers previously as there was a smell of stale cigarettes
Location, on site pub and staff great. Top breakfast
very very small room wifi disconeccted they take a money when I book and before 2 days of arrive and again when I check out
The eveing receptionist was extremely helpful in assisting my husband and myself in using the local bus system.
Location and staff
Nois around at late night times
Street noise coming through closed windows
Location is great and the ground floor trinity bar has a nice atmosphere and the bar meals were excellent we are there most evenings
The rooms are very dated the furnuiture needs replacing for the amount per nite charged I was expecting much better than we got
