Couldn't picked a place more central to everywhere .had a brilliant time well worth a visit.xx
Must use your earplugs it's busy till about 4am out side .but what do you expect being above a busy part of dublin.x
Listening to the music coming from the hotel disco.. And in a Sunday it was until 2am
Excellent location. Clean. Friendly staff. Close to shopping, bars and attractions.
Some may be bothered by the noise from the street.
Great location, Trinity bar perfect for breakfast & loved the cocktails & dinner offers were good value! Would certainly recommend & stay here again! Thank you
beautiful architecture exterior huge window with balcony onto street. Great location for Dublin walking
Bed was very poor. Lights were difficult to locate. Bathroom was sub par Very noisy
Excellent location, plenty of nearby sights and pubs; nice maids, uncomplicated check-in and check-out; luckily had a room on third floor
Very thin windows and sometimes you simply can't close or better not open them due risk of falling out; stay only recommended during the week because on weekends noise simply unbearable without ear plugs and when windows are facing the street, sometimes hear banging from other rooms; breakfast options limited
Location was handy however it was just a shirt overnight stay after a week long tour.
Linen on the bed hadn't been changed by the smell of it, and there was a dirty towel left in the bathroom. The whole room smelled horribly of cigarette, particularly the sheets, pillow cases and bathroom (especially the shower curtain, made showering very unpleasant). Was ensured it was not a smoking room. Was able to get new pillow cases and have dirty towel removed but no one was overly concerned about how bad the room smelt. As a non-smoker, the odour kind of spoiled the night for me.
It was central
It was very noisy. Music in bar very loud and outside noise until 4 am. No double glazing. No air con and hot room but could not open window due to noise. Complaint brushed off by staff.
Good location .
Bit noisy outside the street .
The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff in addition to their willingness to help with any situation.
Quality of rooms, price, and cleanliness hotel rooms don't resemble web posting
Location was great, the staff was more than friendly. Nice bar/restaurant nextdoor. Free WiFi. Elevator in the hotel.
No aironditioner, a little fridge would have been nice. Double glass windows would reduce the streetnoise.
this hotel was good for what we needed. a cheap city centre hotel. the location was perfect as we had a gig at the olympia theatre. the bar and restsurant downstairs was lovely and funky with good atmosphere, seats outside etc. the staff were friendly.
there were lots of alcohol bottles outside our bedroom door.and also a bent spoon outside the window and tun foil in our room. made us very paranoid about what had taken place un our room the night before.
Great bar and location
Bit noisey and no air conditoning
The attached Trinity Bar Venue had friendly staff, decent pub grub and great live music. It's in a good location for shopping and partying (if that's your thing)
Room was far too noisy - insulation on the windows let all the noise in. This showed when instead of complimentary biscuits, we were given ear plugs. The room was also far too warm. No air conditioning. And couldn't open the window due to outside noise. Wifi was poor. Kept disconnecting and wouldn't let me play my Sky Go. The evening desk staff weren't really interested. Seemed more concerned with continuing their own conversations than helping with a simple request for more UHT milk!!
Cleaniness, room size, room facilities, room decor, room comfort
Small windows and an old bed, but everthing else was good. It is a good value for money.
very good location .in the heart of the city center.
sing room . the sing bed bit too samll for tall guest ! requested a double bed when booking , but didnt get the double bed when i check in !
Great location , Clean rooms
location great ,just able to take things easy
Loved the full Irish breakfast in bed and was always able to get some fresh milk for tea every night (hate that long-life stuff you find beside the kettle). The view from our first floor window, (room 104) out onto Dame Street was great!
A bit noisy up until 3am but if you're after a room in the Temple Bar area of Dublin, what do you expect? A decent alcohol intake from the said area helps dull the din! lol
The staff were very nice and attentive
The noise level from outside also the window was not safe since it was nearly ground level and if opened someone could easily have fallen out. Our card to open our door continually failed so we were up and down to reception quite,a few times. Wifi was very poor aswell
The hotel is located in the centre of all the shops pubs restaurants clubs and shops! It was ideal for my stay very comfortable and clean! Great customer service! would stay here again definitely
No wifi on last night
