The Metro Hotel Dublin is a 7-minute shuttle trip from Dublin Airport and 4 miles from central Dublin. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking and a stylish restaurant with a bar. The bright rooms feature a TV with DVD player, CD player and a work desk. They also include a safe, iron and a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A daily newspaper is also provided. Hot and continental breakfasts are served each morning from 7 am, while light lunches and an international evening dinner menu is available in the restaurant. Guests can relax in the bar, which serves bar food daily and includes a plasma-screen TV showing live sports. Guests at the Metro can take advantage of reduced prices offered them for nearby Northwood Gym. It is very confortable and close to the airport and Dublin city center. It is important to inform in Booking web page that shuttle bus is not free of charge.

That it was close to the airport and where I had to return car hire. I was disappointed due to the lack of correct information given by staff eg directions and wait time for shuttle at airport, that the aslaa was charging €20 per person to swim in the pool however the websites I booked through said there would be a small charge, and of the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at its the only hotel that has ever charged me a late check-out fee.

The hotel very comfortable. The shuttle bus took the effort out of finding the parking zones at Dublin airport. My car was left in a secure car park at the hotel. On my return the shuttle bus was at the airport to collect me. So easy. A very pleasant hassle free stay. - Thank you.

This is the first time I stay in Metro , I staied two times ( 4 days ) during my stay in Ireland from 29th November to 5 th November.It is a nice hotel to stay with solo or family,very friendly staff ,excellent service,good breakfast buffet can't imagine with unbeliverble price.competitive rates for alacart menue ,very teasty ,specilly I have to mention the names of resturnet manager Greg and front office manager Pattricia the excellent which I received from them.There is only thing that they have to improve to provid facility of Skype talk.I Am very much happy during my stay in metro

Help on the phone getting to the hotel from the Dublin airport after my GPS led me astray. Called twice, each time got me closer then there. Very patient woman on the desk late that night. She even offered me lattitude/longitude but I foolishly declined. Might be useful for idiots like me to capture tham on the Bookings.com website when I made reservation; an idea for Bookings.com. Food: the food in their restaurant/bar is very good; breakfast and dinner. Parking is inconvenient to locate if one arrives late in the evening.

It was a perfect spot to be in with easy access to the airport and the city center. It was very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.I Would most definitely stay with the Metro Dublin in coming to Ireland again.

Top value for the money, modern and clean rooms with comfortable beds, 15 min from City centre by bus for 1.85 Euros, by taxi for 15 - 20 Euros, Airport shuttle service (10 min)

After making a last minute reservation at 7 pm from the airport computer, I really didn't know what ton expect. We took their shuttle for about 10 minutes to a modern hotel where we were given a twin suite for the price of a twin! It was very clean, towel heaters, nice shower, clean bedding, and really beautiful. The bar was nice too. I only regret that we had to take their 4 am shuttle to catch a 6 am flight as I would have liked to stay longer.

Very friendly, caring and professional staff. Clean and functional rooms. Good location, not far from airport. Adequate breakfast. Complimentary airport shuttle is a very nice feature. Hotel is just 10 minutes away of bus ride from city center, due to the city not being very big. It's even possible to get there on feet, if the weather is sunny, it will take just about an hour to get to O'Connel street. For the money we paid(especially during St.Patrick celebrations) we got very good accommodation.

Close to the airport with a shuttle. A good buffet breakfast was included in the price. The restaurant was also good for dinner. If you had a laptop computer free WiFi was available. We had difficulty figuring out how to regulate the heat but once we did it was quite comfortable.

Restaurant good food at good prices,nice roomy bar area liked open plan between bar and restaurant,Found beds very comfortable matteress excellent,I felt the only area Metro hotel fell down on was shower in bathroom.very basic taps connection..

Reception was most helpful. The shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. Location was great - near the airport but no airport noise. The #4 bus to town was convenient. We had returned our rental car, checked in at the hotel, rested, then at the suggestion of reception, took the bus into Dublin and got in 10 hours of sightseeing/dinner show and returned on the late bus. The next morning we were on the shuttle for our flight home. Great value with the advance booking.

The room was excellent, very clean and well maintained.. I liked the kitchen area we had in the room even though we did not use it.. Room exceeded my expectations The location was a bit far out of town.. Maybe if the buses ran longer and we did not have to pay for a taxi it would have been much more enjoyable.. Also the bus service on a sunday only runs on the hour which means waiting if you miss it

Very reasonably priced suite, I had a baby with me so it was ideal as it provided a microwave, fridge etc. The restaurant downstairs had gorgeous food at very reasonable prices. The DVD player on my tv wasnt working so I called reception and they brought up an actual DVD player for me which was great! Their airport shuttle was out of operation do they paid for a taxi to the airport for me! Just loved this hotel and the staff, would recommend!

The only good thing really was how close it was to the airport. The food at the restaurant took way too long to be served and the beds were the worse we had during our entire trip in Ireland. My husband agreed with me - they were terrible. I would find a different place to stay if I would need a hotel near the airport. A good nights sleep on a comfortable bed is what we were hoping to be paying for - the location, well other hotels are just as close by..

Staff were excellent in every way. Helpful, attentive, polite. Breakfast was buffet-style so no problems with portion sizes. Room decor well above average for this class of hotel. Minutes from airport with an almost "personal" shuttle service when WE required it. We will be back and recommend to others. No complaints at all.

My main reason for selecting Metro Dublin was its proximity to Dublin airport as I was flying out the following morning. I liked: Friendly, courteous desk staff Clean room Tea maker My main gripe was the noise of the traffic on the main road. I double-checked to see if a window was open. I could not get to sleep for hours. You would need to improve the glazing on the windows before I would stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good price and good location if you come/go from/to the airport. The shuttle is cheap and efficient. There isn't much around, but there is a bus that will take you to city center in 20-25 minutes for 2.15€. A taxi to/from the city costs about 15€. The room was comfortable and unlike other reviewers we didn't suffer from noise, but probably because our room was not adjacent to the main road. The restaurant isn't really worth it.
