nothing about this Hotel we liked. where do you start, i suppose the recption desk. receptionist was over sweet but of no help. when asked for assistance, her respinse was 'I will get the manager'. the manager was the rudest individual we have ever come across in any hotel. he got in our face literally, he even had the cheek to inform us that we did not book direct with the hotel but had made a booking through booking.com. why? we arrived at the hotel to attend a wedding reception there. our room wasnt ready and that wa ok. we asked if there was anywhere we could change our clothes for the wedding and that wasa when we were berated by the manager. the Hotel in four star. it looks great online due to clever photgraphy. we had a twin room which had two single beds which were the smalest beds i have ever seen ( not since childhood) there was no tea and coffe facility in the room as advertised. breakfast was poor with a poor selection although we found out late that you have to ask if you want fried eggs or anything other than sausage and scrambled egg the latter was terrible. car parking facilities very poor. would never stay here again.

The room was huge with bright and lovely windows overlooking the garden. The bathroom was also very large with a lot of storage space and a nice soaking tub. The food at the restaurant was great, too. No complaints.

The hotel is very quaint, it is an inn built in the late 18th century. The rooms were little suites. Beautiful and comfortable. The dinner was very gourmet. The breakfast was excellent. Nothing, everything was great!

Food was excellent, staff were friendly, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable I'd really have liked Tea / Coffee making facilities in the room. While you can get a cup from the bar it just means you have to leave.....

That the chef's were more than willing to conjure up a vegan meal for me. That they were still promoting animal cruelty by holding annual Fox hunting events from the hotel. They had plenty of awards for catering and for hotel standards but none for conservation and being animal/wildlife friendly. There is no excuse for animal abuse or cruelty ever! Tradition doesn't make it seem any more acceptable or attractive to me or any othet animal lover.

I liked the hotel ,I like old world style. The rooms were lovely and comfortable we stayed in a twin room and I didn't feel like I was in a single bed. The breakfast was lovely and very fresh. When I was booking in, I was asked for my credit card , which I don't carry with me. Them I was asked to pay the full amount plus 100 euro security deposit. This I found very annoying as it wasn't stated beforehand and I was in Adare to compete in a walk and found the situation could have been dealt with better. They wouldn't accept my laser card so it was pure luck I had the cash on me which I normally wouldn'T.
