The staff and the wifi
It is really near to city center, breakfast is good and beds is very clean.
Some rooms has shared toilet. This is very important for lots of people. When you book, be careful and read terms and conditions.
Close to the center of town and easy to get around. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Toilet didn't flush properly. Shower had very low pressure. Room was very small and cramped.
The B&B is very basic but is clean and the bed was comfortable. My main issue with the room we had was the noise from the road. Once the window was closed there was no real difference to the noise, I am a very light sleeper so it meant I has a very disturbed night. My hubby can sleep through everything so he actually had a very good nights sleep! If you are a light sleeper I would suggest maybe requesting a room at the back of the building. Saying that for the price and what we went for I would most probably book again, just remember it is a budget no frills B&B so don't expect a 4* hotel :)
The noise from the main road during the night.
The staff were great, even made us breakfast at 5am before we had to leave. 10/10 for customer care and a special thanks to Mark.
Location is good. The staff were friendly enough.
Terrible room. The lowlights included a window with no catch that wouldn't shut, resulting in noise all night, paper-thin walls with showers that sounded like drills and old filing cabinets for draws. It clearly has not had any effort spent on it in many years. It is not just a lack of money; curtains were hanging off their hooks and no one had bothered to reattach them. Cable were hanging all over the room with no attempt to tidy them.
Wifi was exellent, breakfast was nice and there was lots of different options. They changed the towels every day. Location is great (if you can handle the noisy street), its five-ten minutes from O'Connel street and five-ten minutes from Liffey. The bed was actually really good, and so was the pillows and the sheets.
We had trouble with the payment, when we checked in, it was solved during the stay though - but stil very annoying. The heater in the room was going crazy, it was so hot, we even had to sleep with the window open, and the street was very noisy. We did ask in the reception if the heat could be turnet of, but they didnt do it. We asked for a twin beds bedroom, but got a doublebed and a double duvet. It was not what we expected! When we asked for single duvets we got one, so we ended up with a double and a single duvet in a boiling room. They only made the bed one night out of six. Would have been nice with a small towel, to dry the hands in the bathroom, we had to use the ones for the shower.
Location was great
Shower and toilet facilities
Very convenient location and nice clean rooms. Stay for just one night but enjoyed it.
Great location Easy to find Good staff
Staff were very helpful. Is relatively affordable but shows age which is an expected trade off.
Fairly noisy with heavy bus traffic on the street on one side and elevated rail on the other.
It's a mangy mess but I enjoyed it anyway. Great location.
Bed was lumpy but if you're out in Dublin, by the time you get home you won't hardly notice.
The bedroom was absolutely tiny. There was dirty tamping in the bin for the last guests who had stayed here.
Central to Dublin centre
Not true ensuite as expect both shower and bathroom
location staff was nice
room stank of smoke
Location is very convenient but noisy at night. Clean white bed linen, polite helpful manager.
Small room, broken shower and toilet seat, no towel hooks in bathroom, tiny shower cubicle in a tiny bathroom, pillows as thin as a as a wafer, dirty carpets on stairs, very noisy at night, and not good value for the money we paid.
Nice place. Good location. Good personal.
Sometimes was very noisy at night
Could Not sleep with the Noise
Location. Breakfast was what I expected.
Was under the impression I would have a toilet in room. It was in the laundry room.
central location Very helpful staff Clean rooms WiFi
Stairs after a few drinks, but no biggie
