Everything. The food, the cocktails, the LOVELY staff, the live band, the decor... My NYE plans fell through so we spent a lot of time in the hotel bar and you know what, it was PERFECT! Thank you Dylan XX
The room was a bit on the small side but very clean.
I could have stayed in the four seasons for an extra £20.00 I have stayed in the four seasons before and there is no comparison in these hotels. The Dylan was a lovely hotel but def not 5 star.
Friendly chatty staff and a relaxed atmosphere
Ballsbridge location in a Dublin.
Being made aware, at last stage on checking out that a €100 charge was required to be paid for my small dog. Reservation was made 5 months prior to stay and I had stated that small house-trained dog would be accompanying us. Would suggest Booking.com and hotel should make clear at time of booking daily pet charge of €100, instead of guest having to trawl through the small print to find out this fact after the event. Car parking daily fee of €20 was easily visible at time of booking. Receptionist's tone to me that hotel was only charging me for one night's charge instead of 2, like I should be grateful did not make charge any more acceptable. The dog has accompanied us whilst on holiday in numerous 5* accommodation throughout UK, Ireland, France, Belgium and Holland and I have never been charged for the dog's board. He does not cast and is KC reg, house-trained and we brought our own dog cage for him. He did not cause a mess or disturbance unlike the female guest above our room at 3am. Style room we resided in had an outlook on Dylan Bar roof where 3 street cats liked to reside. Would be interested to know what the daily €100 charge is for bearing in mind hotel provided no pet bed, food, water or toy for dog like some of the other establishments dog has stayed in without being requested to.
Decor, friendly staff
Expensive breakfast, toiletries, location a little far from centre
Excellent service and friendly staff made our short stay memorable. I'd definitely return next time in dublin.
Would have like a jacuzzi!
If your after a treat or want to spoil yourself this is the place. Due to the quality of the hotel and the service it actually becomes good value for money. In comparison to london hotel you get allot more for you money at the dylan. We will definatly stay again. The hotel became more than just a place to stay but a feature and higlight of the holiday.
No swiming pool. Not important to me but if it had been there it would have been a nice bonus.
location and room.
I thought the breakfast was over priced.
Surrounded by great restaurants, easy to get to town, lovely rooms, very comfortable.
Poor lighting in the rooms for reading etc.
stylish hotel, great location, walk into town center is only 20mins funky bar with pleasant staff and a good service. will definitely return
breakfast probably a tad expensive however this appears to be the norm for 5 star hotels anyway so not unusual. but certainly not a deal breaker
reasonably good facilities across the board
WiFi a little unreliable in room
Some quirky interior design touches. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Not a business travel hotel, so nice atmosphere.
Shower power was a bit weak. Merlot ordered in Bar was corked and when we asked for a different glass both drinks were charged for.
My 2nd visit to the Dylan... And I will return again. Lovely staff, great decor, super room!
Nothing at all!!!
The room was far to warm so we slept with the window open which then let a lot of noise from general goings on. We didnt realise until we left that there was air con . Maybe it would be a good idea to make guests aware.
Loved everything about this hotel. Pure luxury! All of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The décor of the hotel is beautiful. A lovely bar in which to enjoy an evening drink. We will definitely stay here again.
There was nothing to dislike!
The bed was comfy. The staff were polite.
Given the price they charged was 50% more than other hotels in the area, they could have included breakfast. I asked for an iron and ironing board to be brought up, was told it would be and then had to go and ask again half an hour after it was meant to have arrived.
Boutique decor and comfort Staff very helpful Location good
Breakfast is a little pricey if not included in rate in advance
Politeness and attentiveness of staff
breakfast rather pricey
Comfort wise is hard to beat and staff very happy to help.
Dirty carpet in hall way to toilet. My partner said the tiles in ladies were chipped. We ordered dinner in bar on sunday and both starters and main course came out together. It was a last minute booking and hotel busy but it wasnt value for money at all.
The staff were happy and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Even the dog had a comfy bed and treats! The service was great. Definitely stay again
Good location although a bit of a walk but that was almost a plus. Friendly and helpful staff so would definitely stay again if in Dublin.
A nice clean and stylish hotel
Service, showed up an my booking that was booked through and paid for with booking.com was not in their system. Was then asked to pay again...
The large room, beautifully decorated, with very comfortable bed Turn-down service with water and chocolate every night Complimentary milk for my tea in the mini-bar Friendly helpful staff who give great advice Walking distance to the center of things yet feels out of the way. Near very good restaurants and the DART Read the paper every morning on terrace with great coffee.
Can't think of a thing---we will stay there again.
Design of the hotel and interior was superb, ipod in room, very helpful staff.
Breakfast not included, however, receptionist recommended an excellent café.
Location and decor were very good .
The room was very small and the hotel is very overpriced. Our rate was 189 for room only, breakfast was 50 euro extra and parking was 20 extra, our room was very small and generally the hotel is just not worth this kind of money, the breakfast charge seemed ridiculous.we went to a nearby cafe and had breakfast for 17 euro for 2.
