Nice vibe, good breakfast, easy parking

The room was hot and stuffy even though it was cold outside and the heating was off and the window was open

Our room had a few things that needed work and as soon as we told the staff, the owner came right away to fix it! It was great to be just out of the city where it was quiet and a beautiful neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and although the other guests can be heard in the hall, everyone was considerate of each other and was fairly quiet. I loved this b&b!

Cleanliness. Helpful staff. Good food. Handiness to the zoo- our main purpose of visit.

The room was quite warm during the night (even with windows open) which made sleep a little difficult.

The lock in the toilet was broken. We had to pay extra money to get the room with 3 beds. The double room we booked was too small.

We loved our stay at Egans House. The staff members were kind, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the common area where we met other visitors.

The location was about 20 minutes by bus from the center of Dublin. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

It's in a nice quite area.

Just a tad too far out from the city centre to walk, especially at night.

Was not located in the city center where it is very busy. Was located around houses and was just about 1 mile from the city center which takes about 20 minutes to walk! The room was fantastic, the beds even better!

    - Room was comfortable, clean and cosy. - Beds were very comfortable. - Nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. - Quiet and peaceful.

    - It was a little bit of a trek into the city centre, but not too strenuous.

Located on an old leafy avenue, quiet pleasant area, not too far out from the city centre and close to Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin cemetery. Lovely old house, big high ceiling rooms with newish decor but matching the rooms. Friendly staff, helpful with any needs (booking taxis, directions, restaurants, anything for the room) Irish breakfast was good quality and all items ready/available, eggs multiple ways and cereals, cheese, fruit, etc. also. Convenient on-site parking worth the €7.

The staff was great. The hotel is about a 10 min bus ride from the city centre and the bus stop is less than a five minute walk. The rooms are a bit old, but in my opinion for the price it was fine. Breakfast is amazing! Lots of options including a traditional Irish breakfast and a many other options.

The room was a bit warm but we managed.

Ours was just a one night stay but we found the staff and facilities excellent. It is a little way from the centre but the bus services are regular and good value and the bus stop was a 2 minute walk away.

Egans House is a very good choice for each tourist that chooses to visit Dublin. It is very close fron city center and airport, the breakfast is excellent, especially the Irish dishes, bathrooms are very clean and the rooms as well, quiet place to relax and recharge your batteries to visit Dublin and the surroundings. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

For our family which included an elderly couple, Egans House ensured that we had an easy access room on the ground level. The room was not large but comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was very well done and suited a variety of tastes. Egans House was able to help with directions and we were able to buy our Hop on Hop off city tour tickets there (tour starts 5 mins away by the city bus). We were a short walking distance from the city bus that goes to the city centre or to the car rental about 10 to 15 minutes away depending on where you wanted to go. It is within walking distance to city centre too. Egans House is situated in a lovely neighborhood which feels safe. It is also close to a good pub restaurant just around the corner near the bus stop. This was a great vacation place for our family.

The staff were very friendly. It wasn't too far from the town. Nice quiet residential area.

The shower wasn't very powerful and the hallways had a musty smell. However I was happy with my stay.
