The staff were very friendly.
Was good for what I wanted
Near the City center quite no fuss
Friendly and helpful staff, room clean and comfortable, walkable distance from the city centre, and located on a lovely residential street.
Think breakfast should have been included in the price we paid
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable
Nice decor n big lobby area. Quiet neighborhood
A fine guest house, good quality for the price in a Northside area which was good for where I was working. Wifi worked fine, but a bit slow if you're relying on it to watch Brit TV while you're over here.
As it happens there was interesting stuff on BBC while I was here, and they only had Freeview at Egans. If you've never watched just Irish TV (when there's sport on RTE 2 all night & Irish music on two of the other channels) and you're crying out to watch The Apprentice, you've not lived. The wifi was fine, and I did manage to watch one show, and even caught up on Doctor Who (which they've never heard of here, by the way), but you can't rely on it. As it happens I was here in Dublin on Nov 5th and thought. what with the TV being so poor, I'd go out and catch bonfire night fireworks somewhere. Yes. I know now.
The staff is really kind and always helpful Good and quite location, halfway between the airport and the city centre. Ironing kit in your room You feel like at home!
The room was a bit too small Very small sink
Very friendly staff, comfortable room,
Poor choice of breakfast
The cute guy who worked at Egan's House (:
The wifi wasn't the greatest
Of course it's not 5-star hotel, but for what you're paying this place is excellent. Clean & comfortable, what more can you ask for?
Staff was helpful and accommodating. Everything I needed was offered to me without any hesitation. Thank you. Will be coming back.
Very welcoming Hosts, spacious warm rooms, Food & facilities were superb. free tea/coffee/wifi..Toys for kids in lounge area...Buffet breakfast was simply delicious..Would recommend Egan's as a "home away from home" in an ideal location, with easy access to the CityCentre. We will be back!
nice spacious, clean rooms.. good shower, good feel to the house in general & friendly, helpful staff
wifi not great
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable about the are, transport, shopping centres. The breakfast was amazing, the kids loved it, there was something for everyone and more than enough. We had the family room at the top of the house, slept two adults & three teenage girls, plenty of room, the ensuite was well presented. made our break very enjoyable, definately stay again and recommend
With being at the top of the house the wifi was a bit hit and miss, but did make the girls get ready to go out quicker, and we all had to talk to each other more, which was fab
Location is perfect, quiet, 15 min. to the centre by bus Breakfast was good, lot of choises Rooms were clean, not very large, but enough for sleeping. Staff was helpful
good location, clean, easy to find, ample parking(although it did cost €7/day).
Everything was perfect..
Location, friendly staff, good breakfast
Poor sound proofing, parking had to be reserved prior to arrival, cold showers, poor wifi and tv.
the egans guesthouse was only 5 mins walk from the bus stop that would drop you in the city centre on o'connell street. it was only 10mins from the airport in taxi and it was really good. we wanted it for the helix and it was only 5 mins in the taxi and it wasnt that expenice either. we would stay again.
the only fault we had with the b&b was the fact that we were on the top floor which was grand caise there was 5 of us staying. fhey were having the roof cleaned and the men that where cleaning the roof was able to look straight into are bathroom which wasnt any good when we want to get ready the following day. the widow wouldnt open and the blind that was on the window would not close as it was locked up with cable.
quiet neighborhood, easy access to town center, friendly staff
no toiletries, soap, shampoo ...
Location, large comfortable lounge.
the shower. Had real problems getting hot water.
Room was very small. Pay parking is a disadvantage, its a residential area.
Egans B&B is situated in a lovely leafy suburb of North Dublin City but within a few minutes commute of the city centre. Myself and my friend stayed in a twin bedroom which was lovely and bright, warm and cosy. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was nice and modern. Breakfast was very tasty and presened nicely in the dining-room. Staff were most helpful and friendly. A high standard of cleanliness and excellent value for money has made this a place we will recommend to our friends and one that we will be returning to on our next visit to Dublin.
