In Dublin’s historic center, this refurbished Georgian townhouse is less than a 15 minute walk from Trinity College. It features spacious, modern rooms and an idyllic Japanese garden.

Only a 5 minute walk from Temple Bar in central Dublin, The Charles Stewart offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms with shower, free Wi-Fi, and full Irish breakfasts in a charming Georgian style...

The location was good, convenient to Croke Park. The staff were very friendly and the room was exceptionally clean. Just remember to pre book car parking.
Shortage of car parking.
Mavi is pretty and very nice. Convenient location. Also have a range of tours to choose from.
Room was too small. I booked parking but they didn't keep me a spot. I hade to park on another street.
We slept there one night, confortable beds and well attended. In the attic we were, there is room for 6 people.
Not an unknown issue, just to say something, it's better to pay the parking if you arrive by car. There is regulated parking zone in the street but it has two hour duration limit.
every single person of the personel was very helpful, and they answered even the some stupid questions we had, without making us feel bad or anything.. they helped us find the right bus to take and even printed a map for us. the breakfast was satisfying and tasteful the room was clean and the wifi signal was strong even at the attic (i don't know any other word to describe efficiently our room) and the view was nice! everything was great!!!!
Egan's isn't close to the centre of Dublin, so we had to walk a lot, or take a taxi at nights. But the route was beautiful, so the walking didn't bother us that much.. On several B&Bs, there was one bottle to use as shampoo/body wash/hand wash...it was challenging to use one product for every mentioned purpose. so, take a shampoo with you in case of staying in a small hotel/B&B etc..
We found everyone at Egan's Guesthouse friendly and charming. It has an excellent location in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
The place was OK but I have stayed in a lot better for similar money (or better).
Lack of parking. WiFi weak. Breakfast expensive and not particularly great.
We really enjoyed the quiet residential location and were able to sleep till 1 pm one day to recover from jet lag - obviously the walls aren't paper thin! The location is also perfect as we walked into the hub of Temple Bar easily and efficiently giving us ample time to stroll off the great food and desserts sampled there.
Just one bathroom for 6...took a while to get ready each morning, but that's not a deciding factor in itself. That's character building!
Not very sound proof from other guests
Good parking nice clean comfortable rooms with free wifi no complaints and would stay again
Did not have anything that was a problem with my stay
Nice vibe, good breakfast, easy parking
The room was hot and stuffy even though it was cold outside and the heating was off and the window was open
Our room had a few things that needed work and as soon as we told the staff, the owner came right away to fix it! It was great to be just out of the city where it was quiet and a beautiful neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and although the other guests can be heard in the hall, everyone was considerate of each other and was fairly quiet. I loved this b&b!
comfortable beds spacious rooms
Bathroom was clean but toilet was not on arrival but it was cleaned after i mentioned it. No hot water for shower on both mornings. No interest in my complaint.
Very good breakfast for 10 euro, I recommend. Pleasant staff
We had a discount for the room caused we book it on the last time. The whole, original price is around 298 euro for room for 4 people with a shower which would not be worth it. In the morning it was a bit noisy from the street and also poor wifi, the room wasnt so big for 4 people (originally the room should be for 5 which I cant imagine).
room was very nice and cosy but I did not like the wardrobes.good breakfast. Margaret from Kerry.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. A decent value for the nightly price. The room itself was larger than other places we booked on our trip so that was a plus with two adults and a teenage son in one room! Not too far of a walk to catch the bus to center city.
The en suite bathrooms are small(especially the shower), but I understand that is the norm when traveling in Europe. The location is a bit far from center city, but that could also be a plus for some travelers who appreciate a bit of quiet as well!
Friendly staff, free tea and coffee, clean room, good bed...
Cleanliness. Helpful staff. Good food. Handiness to the zoo- our main purpose of visit.
The room was quite warm during the night (even with windows open) which made sleep a little difficult.
Quiet and clean. Comfortable living room. Pleasent staff.
The lock in the toilet was broken. We had to pay extra money to get the room with 3 beds. The double room we booked was too small.
Parking but it was my fault for not booking a spot.
We loved our stay at Egans House. The staff members were kind, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the common area where we met other visitors.
The location was about 20 minutes by bus from the center of Dublin. Otherwise, no complaints at all.
It's in a nice quite area.
Just a tad too far out from the city centre to walk, especially at night.
Was not located in the city center where it is very busy. Was located around houses and was just about 1 mile from the city center which takes about 20 minutes to walk! The room was fantastic, the beds even better!
