Ideal location being in the centre of it all
On the main road so was extremely noisy with the traffic
Breakfast was very good with great choice of freshly cooked food
Location Cosy room Easy access Clean with towels changed daily
Some traffic noise
The hotel was perfectly situated, breakfast excellent and rooms were good with a stunning view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and would definitely stay there again if ever in Dublin.
Only slight criticism was the grouting in the shower was discoloured and needed replacing.
Had a stunning view from our Room overlooking the Liffey River and a great room on third floor. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Restaurant downstairs and heaps of other places to eat in the Temple Bar area.
Hard to find at night if you have a car and lift is only from Ist floor.
Location was very handy to good pubs and central shopping district.Nice spot on river.
Very small room. No drop off or pick up access if arriving by car. Hard to spot from road. Room was very noisy at night. Car park quite a long way off, meant a big haul with luggage in the morning or a 20 minute drive to pick up bags, but risk of parking fine or clamping, so better to just haul bags across the foot bridge to car park. This hotel would suit young backpackers.
The room was very big. The location was perfect.
No common areas. The reception is very small and uncomfortable.
Helpfullness and friendliness of staff Location of hotel Food
The location is perfect, the rooms are cosy and welcoming and the view of the River Liffey is just gorgeous. Lovely staff and I wouldn't hesitate about staying again. Thank you for a lovely stay
Very friendly staff, fantastic location, beautiful view from the balcony. Restaurant is also great.
The room was cold with only a plig in radiator. It was minus 2 degrees Celsius outside though. No channels on the tv.
Good value considering a late booking. And no issues when I needed an upgrade to a triple room. Nice view over the Liffey and if you plan to go out in Temple Bar, the location is perfect.
The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The windows are badly insulated with cold air and traffic noise which makes it impossible to get a good night's sleep.
The staff were all very nice and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable and clean. The Italian restaurant downstairs was really nice and the food was delicious. Breakfast was excellent.
All rooms in the hotel face the main road and the traffic is non stop all night, the windows are like paper and so I didn't get much sleep. I waited till 1am hoping the traffic might calm down but it didn't and so I had to sleep on the bathroom floor, the peace and quiet in there was heaven but the floor was hell!
The bathroom could do with a refurb.
Quick service Friendly staff Coffee to go Perfect Location
Room a tad bit cramped but I was not there to rest, I was there to get out and see the town! Weekends especially are noisy but well worth the location, I was not there to sleep in anyway.
Excellent location, room, view, staff etc. partner refuses to be booked in anywhere else on our return, very happy indeed!!
Stayed At the Eliza 5 times out of the last 7 years . The other two years was because we booked to late , Great hotel, Great people , All in all fantastic City
The hotel was friendly accomadating,. Warm.. Clean,.. The breakfast was the best I've ever tasted in a hotel!!!! Down side it took us a while to find it... And there is no parking.. X
Cleanliness of room, friendliness of staff, location of guest house
No complaints at all
Location and hospitality was ideal (especially Karen). The room was great, very spacious! And of course who could beat the view.
There was a minor issue with the heat, television and water spouts but All in all nothing terrible.
Fantastic freshly cooked breakfast, choice of pancakes, eggs of any shape, Irish breakfast. Very friendly and helpful personal. Very centrally located in the Temple Bar District. Early check-in (1pm) was available at no extra cost. WLan was included. Room included coffee/tea making facilities, large cupboard, comfy bed and small TV.
If you arrive by car, ask about the cheap (15 €/day) car park beforehand, otherwise be prepared to triple the price. Given the good rating, I had expected more from the room: it was tiny, with barely space to put our luggage, and very noisy next to a main street. The bathroom was very plain, no place to put our towels.
Location. It was very conveinent. Satff were freindly. Good Breakfast choices
Lack of fridge in room. TV too small. Safe was broken
Very well-located (next to Temple Bar but very quiet) Lovely view to the river Friendly service Clean rooms with a lot of space (huge beds) Nicely-furnished
I loved how close it was tgo the shopping area and luas stop to get back to the park and ride stop. Staff so friendly room basic but clean really perfect budget accomodation.
