It was a comfortable and clean hotel, and suited me for my short stay. Cannot imagine staying there on holiday as the bar closed at 10 oc. What a pity as its not what I would expect of a hotel.

Comfortable room Extremely expensive - €150.00 per night is extortionate for the times we are in. Hotel is nice but not worth that kind of money. Wouldnt have stayed only I had no other choice. I feel hotel is taking advantage of the fact there is very little competition in the town (other hotel would not even be considered by anybody familiar with the town) also left a couple of items in the room, phoned approx 1 hour after I checked out. Staff were not very helpful, I was told to call back later. Called back later and again was told to call back sunday. Called back sunday, nobody again could tell me if the items were located and told to call back monday. Called back @ 9.10am, finally somebody took my number for a callback but will be good to see if I actually get a call!! Since origional call, nobody took my number or bothered to contact housekeeping to deal with my query. I got the impression that as the bill had been settled, they couldnt be bothered.

Staff were excellent, had a small problem with the room and were changed straight away. No fuss First room was a bit outdated, if booking ask to be put in the new wing. Much nicer!

Stayed at the hotel for a wedding & it was perfect for this. Very disappointed that there was no water in the hotel. Management & staff did not offer any explanation and I had to pay for drinking water the following morning

Only stayed one night passing through. Friendly and helpful staff, nice spacious and comfortable rooms and ensuites. Good selection of dinner or bar supper and very good breakfast. Plenty parking space and nice quiet environment made it the ideal stopover.

Staff was extraordinarily helpful. Rooms are fresh, clean, modern. Bathrooms spotless. Bar was comfortable and cheery. Parking easy and plentiful. The hotel is about 1/2 a mile out of town -- too much for a left-hand driver to do after a round of Guiness. But this is hardly a complaint.
