With spacious rooms and free Wi-Fi, Wilton Hotel Bray is about 1 mile from Bray's seafront promenade and beach. Dublin is a 30-minute train ride from Bray Station.

Our room faced the ocean
The lady at the front desk was rude every time we asked a question. No elevator that goes to all the rooms. Rooms are very tired and run down, and the shower is very small. The shower curtain would stick to you to small.
Breakfast was quite nice but bacon had quite a lor of white residue on it and thr plates were brought out cold and put into the plate warmer, they were being used before the plate warmer heated them.
Young staff member whilst cleaning off the tables just swept crumbs etc. off the table and onto the floor and chairs - no thought about the mess on the floor and seats. I watched as guests had to wwipr off the chairs before sitting down - very poor practice, maybe more training needed?
Great location. Guest parking available. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy.
Pricier than it should be. Refurbishment is overdue in some areas.
Filthy windows, musty smell through hotel. Reception not very friendly.
The girl working at reception was extremely nice and couldn't have been more obliging.
Very difficult for pushchair. Lots of stairs.
This is a lovely period hotel in a great location by the sea front. The rooms are clean and serviced every day. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a good selection of both hot and cold food and the staff were friendly and efficient. A lovely hotel to stay in.
Our room was a little to close to the main room for weddings and it could be very noisy, however the up side to this was that the music stopped at 12 o'clock.
Dragged our suitcases from train station abit of a jaunt
sea view , new part good
old part poor, parking [not enough] bus orientated,
The hotel overall was ok. The sea view was fantastic.Parking is a bouns.
The rooms could do with updating and genaral maintenance is needed. The breakfast was not the best not alot to choose from. Staff will not speak to you unless you make the effort. The room cleaners were very nice.
bedroom very nice but sea view would have been better. Bar food and service very good, welcoming and comfortable. Entertainment nice. Location is best. Excellent. Hotel is very comfortable.
Staff attention to detail not so good = could use additional staff, porter, more experienced night desk....otherwise friendly and nice. Breakfast and dining area cramped and not so nice. Buttet in AM ok but needs a few upgrades. Croissants very nice.
Staff friendly Location good
Need to indicate more clearly the times food is served in the hotel as we were not aware serving stopped in the bar at 8.30pm, and we had been out walking. The sign out side the hotel says food served all day.
The location Clean bathroom
Wifi wasnt working throughout the stay - which is a nightmare as a self-employed person - they offered no solution. I wasnt informed until our departure that there was access for a buggy via the dining room (I checked it would have been impossible to manoeuvre a buggy through the chairs). I had to struggle down about 8 stairs only once did a member of staff (in full view) come to help. Bar/Restaurant area was unattended by staff - almost impossible to get served. Bedroom: stains on the wall, ripped wallpaper, tv not working, linen iffy
The Sea Bass on rice
Lovely location, enjoyed my visit
The location is excellent with the strand excellent for walks. The staff in te hotel were pleasant and efficient. The room was large and extremely comfortable. We ate there several times, and although the food was standard it was very acceptable, and reasonably priced. We will return next summer.
Some staff were not friendly
It was nice to be so close to the beach. On the sat night the two musicians were great and friendly.
We arrived at 11 and could not check-in until 3.30 which I thought was very late in the day. Carpet was stained in many places in bed room and sink was cracked. Could not sleep at night because some fan or pump was just outside our room(at rear of building) and the walls are quite thin because someone kept me awake snoring. And I was surprised to see housekeeping having stacked clean sheets on floor around lift and in lift, these sheets should be on a trolley.
next to sea,
car park insuffesent, bus partys take over, charge,s alter.
The bathroom was smelling of pee .the bath had a grime on it that was very visible.one of the kids duvet was ripped.our room was right next to the dart line very noisy. On check out we were not even asked how was our stay a mere thank you.would not recommend this hotel to anyone we had stayed as a couple 23 years ago and it is stuck in a time warp!
Really outdated decor, mould in shower
the locality lots to do around bray. there was plenty of tea and coffee,
the rooms need a revamp, very old there was writing on the wall. there was dry blood on the sheets, the view was a building site and car park. there was no biscuits in the room. there was no shampoo in the bathroom.
reception staff where great, friendly and helpful. hotel had a nice feel. great location
bar manager was very grumpy meals where expensive and got my order wrong 2 out of 2 times. not enough customer parking
Every thing about this hotel was brilliant. .beautiful location. .very clean & and very helpful staff. De
Decor could be updated.
