Just as other reviewers have said, Olive is a charming and delightful hostess. She was always ready to provide help and suggestions if needed without hovering. Breakfasts were very satisfying and generous. Olive epitomizes the genuine warmth of the Irish. You leave feeling you were sincerely welcomed into her home.
Couldn't fault the room, the hospitality or the breakfast. Would highly recommend.
Everything, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, Olive was very friendly and helpful and recommended places to visit and to eat. An all round good experience and we hope to go back there.
Tea/coffee making facilities were only available in the dining room which is fine during the day or evening but in the morning it means you have to get the tea in your pj's or get dressed first.
What a pity it is so close to the airport. It really deserves customers staying longer than their last night before a flight. Comfortable, quiet, clean and a really sweet, friendly hostess.
Didn't like leaving so soon!
very friendly host nice B&B perfect Location, close to Airport, castle and town
From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the quality of the accomodation, the peaceful and extensive garden and the incrediboy friendy and helpful hosts. If i ever get back to Ieland staying at Evergreen Malahide will be a must.
Location near Howth and Malahide, as well as near DART into the city. Excellent host.
The wi-fi was spotty but when it was working, it was quite fine.
The proprietress, Olive, was Hostess Extraordinaire. Warm and welcoming upon our arrival, she was most eager to assist with our plans for the day. Not only was her lodging spotless and comfortable, her full Irish breakfast was prepared to perfection. We look forward to returning "home" to Malahide B & B upon our return to the Emerald Isle!
I had a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very helpful & nice as well.
Olive is really kind and the oplace wonderful
Is is not public transport near.It is wonderful if you hire a car
Great welcome. Host was most friendly we have come across. Breakfast excellent, room, great. All in all a wonderful experience!
Nothing we did not like.
Everything was wonderful. Olive and Henry are great.
What an awesome experience we had spending a couple of nights here. Olive could not have been a better host, it was as if we were long lost friends staying, we were treated so well. Always a daunting experience in a new country not knowing much about the town or what was on offer. Olive offered all the help we needed to navigate to Dublin and back with ease. The full Irish breakfast was superb too. Highly recommended B&B. Many thanks for everything.
We found Olive welcoming but not over the top. Helpful with maps etc. wasn't as impressed as other reviewers had indicated.
I was driving a 6 psgr SUV & had a really hard time parking in the back of the house especially at night.
Location was much better than staying at an airport hotel. easy access to downtown and restaurants.
Not quite close enough to downtown to walk.
The owners were very helpful and Olive even got up early so we could have a "cooked" breakfast before leaving for the airport. Breakfast was delicious by the way. Unfortunately we didn't get there until about 8:30 at night and since we were leaving the next morning we didn't have time to visit the castle or go into Malahide. Next time!
She was waiting and ready for us at the agreed time (something uncommon during our trip) she also had a map ready for us with directions to the airport (we were flying out the next morning) and a list of menu's and suggestions to eat at. An absolute pleasure to stay at.
Owner is lovely person, friendly and helpful. beds were very comfortable. very convenient to airport and town of Malahide.
Not convenient to downtown Dublin
Tremendous place to unwind great hosts a pleasure from start to finish
Everything was perfect - from location to room and bathroom, and even breakfast. Goes without saying the woman treated us so well that we actually felt like home.
Close to airport Quiet & clean Helpful
We stay 3 days at evergreen and it was a real pleasure. Everything was perfect the place, the people and the breakfast. Very nice.
Olive was a tremendous hostess who went out of here way to make us comfortable. The B & B was spotless and the Irish breakfast was delicious.
We were given a lovely welcome and enjoyed soaking up the heat and sunshine in the garden. We were given maps and all our questions were answered. Our host could not have been more helpful
The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful and the nearby village is a lesser known gem, within pretty easy walking distance (1-2 miles). We had an early flight -- too early for the scheduled breakfast -- so they put a quality buffet out the night before, which was above and beyond. The location is near enough to Dublin airport to make it a very easy drive, and far enough away that planes are not a noise problem. One caveat: Because of the road configurations, it's apparently much easier to find the airport from the B&B than it is to find the B&B from the airport.
I can't think of a thing.
