I like the cleanliness and the warm welcome, but felt that the hotel could be modernised slightly. |

The room was really noisey. We have stayed here before and we know that it can get kinda loud from the bar, but this time, was ridiculous. We were located in a frontfront facing room. We heard everyone outside; the patrons, the furniture being moved, the stock delivery van, the road sweep. The wiindows need to be double/triple glazed. There was a constant noise, like a water heater or fan behind the wall. We wont be going there again. |

space in the room The level of noise from the pub down stairs and outside at night time. Particularily from the smoking room out the back. I wouldnt stay there again for a relaxing weekend but maybe for a weekend clubbing ect. |

Clean rooms & friendly staff at a good price. We casually mentioned our impending wedding and got upgraded to a huge corner room. Loved the Library Pub and the friendly bar staff there. Street noise was super loud even on a Sunday night. When the bars closed down the street cleaning machines started and neither was at a civilized decibel level. Maybe the windows should have double panes? But the other reviews warned us and I brought earplugs! |

Whilst staying at Eyre Sq Hotel, the location was excellent. Shops, pubs and clubs were a stones throw from our room. The stay were very friendly and helpful too. The furnishings and the surroundings of the hotel. The decor appeared quite dated. |

I liked the fact that I walked out the front door and the city was there for me. It was noisy late at night from next door, but it did not bother me as I had ear plugs ! |

The location, right beside the train station and city centre. Breakfast was fine for the price. the foyer, breakfast area and bedrooms are badly lit and drably furnished. No towel rails in en suite bathroom which was odd |

breakfast we were not told about the noise n i was not impressed. as we were in honeymoon, the 1st room we where given was a disappointment room 317 as there was damp on the walls n the wall paper was coming off, the size was small. then we ask to be changed to another room i did ask for a quiet room. but the noise was unbelievable as i am a light sleeper, on the first nit i never slept until the day time and the second night i never slept untill we got into our car. we were recommanded the by a family member, but i'll wont be recommanding the hotel to anyone. sorry my experience was terrible. |
