Nearby pub noise, teenagers on street late
Location,Staff, Facilities excellent. Would definitely recommend
Residence Bar was not satisfactory.
Location, cosy atmosphere. Cosy bed & breakfast delish
Noise levels but location made up 4 it..
Location and friendly staff.
Needed to change to new room after first night due to strong smell of stale smoke and humming noise outside window.
Location Friendly staff Very good breakfast. Reduced parking fees in local car parks if you get your card stamped at reception.
Decor in rooms a little dated.
We were in town to do an interview for a documentary and had a lot of heavy and difficult to handle baggage with us. The staff were extremely helpful and carried out luggage up for us.
The rooms need better sound proofing. You can hear people from the other rooms.
Close to town centre easy to find and parking not as bad as first thought!
The railway station very close so the announcement off incoming trains is very loud be prepared to be well informed!
Advertise parking which there is not had to pay for car park.
comfortable warm room, friendly staff, good breakfast menu
sheets on my bed didn't smell that fresh
Great location and near a car park.Fresh crisp linen on beds which were so comfortable.
Telly far too small.
Most of all the location - really central Good value place to stay. Large enough room, bright, clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. I was very happy with my stay here and would definitely consider for a stay again, particularly in view of location.
No wardrobe in room. There was a rail with some clothes hangers but no wardrobe. Old-fashioned decor.
Dirty carpets. Chip shop curry sauce,
Could do with a facelift
Carpet wallpaper worn
- Walking distance to everything - Pub was open late - Staff was friendly and helpful
- Wifi not always the best
All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. They were ready to book anything, check on anything, or help in any way they could. I had an inside (hotel court) room , so it was nice and quiet. ( I understand that street front rooms have traffic and people noise.) Excellent service, price, and accommodations.
I had a room with 2 beds- the mattress on the better location bed (not against the wall) was flat and probably uncomfortable to sleep on. I choose the better mattress. Caution: the nightclub was closed, so it was quiet. If the nightclub reopens, I think that a quiet night's sleep is unlikely.
A short walk from everything. Great bar with music every night - and often starting at 6:30 or so. Optional big breakfast for 5 euros in the dining room. All in all, a very good value for the money. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere, otherwise I highly recommend it.
Our breakfast took over 20 minutes to arrive, I think they forgot to order it, but were apologetic when it eventually arrived. Also, the staff don't wear name badges which I think needs to be addressed as it would be nice to know your servers name.
No bar food served between 2pm and 5pm
Great Location. Close to downtown, train and bus stations. That allowed us to visit the region which is amazing.
inexpensive, location was great
the walls were very thin, the rooms were small
waiting for the waitress to finish what she was doing on her cell phone before she served us our coffee.
Location good. And we managed to park outside - good timing.
Tiny dark room, only window had the kitchen vent outside, so choice was between stuffy room and stinky room. No wifi on the top floor.
Great spot, very central
The wifi lets go often
Great food, wonderful staff, lift (elevator), near fabulous pedestrian only shopping, walking, restaurant and entertainment area.
Rooms a bit small for my travel needs. It was warm weather and no air conditioning. However we were told it was an unseasonable heat.
Excellent staff, friendly, happy, helpful, good bar with live sports on request, bar food was good..
Rooms backed onto a bus/train station not a great sleep early morning wake up..
