No music in bar New Years Eve
This hotel is spotless with very friendly staff. Brilliant location just beside the train station.
We went back to residence bar and asked for a drink and were told no it was closed. When we mentioned a couple had just been served we were told that was his parents and we would not be getting a drink. I think its unfair to decide paying guests cannot have a drink when others can.
Good location close to train station and bus depot where tours eave from. Large comfortable room and friendly staff
Room a bit tired
Loved the location and the cosiness of the environment. Rosa the receptionist most welcoming and helpful.
the location and staff in the hotel are out on their own so friendly and helpful
I had a room that was a little noisy but as its on eyre sq its to be xpected it was perfect in every way
Great location. Close to both bus stations and Eyre Square. Lovely staff.
The location , the great value , the staff and the facilities
If u want a quiet stay ask for a back room
Cafe, bar and restaurant all in the hotel. Ideal location... 20 foot walk to eure square. Great staff, never had any problems.
Value for money Very central Very clean hotel Lovely staff
Brilliant Central hotel offering a reasonable rate during the week if you are sharing.
Again solo travellers are paying the price of a twin room. Not fair I feel but happens throughout the industry. May be The Eyre Square Hotel Should change this trend.
The hotel is very deceptive from the outside .. it looks small but is in fact extremely spacious and the decor is beautiful . The location was perfect for heading off into the centre of Galway and the the staff were absolutely lovely .- although there is no car park the closet cark park is exactly that ( about 20 meters)..very close and very cheap for long term parking .The breakfast had plenty of choice / very tasty and the service excellent .
only complaint was from my travelling companion ( sister ) who said her duvet was very light and she woke in the middle of the night from the cold - also as we were at the front of the hotel we heard all the late night revelers and the early morning deliveries ! ! both issues easy to rectify next time !
Was staying with two friends for my thirtieth birthday (which I cheekily informed the hotel during my booking) so, arrived to a lovely welcome at reception with the manager wishing me a happy birthday and then arrived to our room where there was a bottle of per seco on ice and 3 glasses for us to celebrate. This was a lovely gesture and the staff were so so nice throughout our stay. Breakfast the next morning was beautiful and service was prompt. Cannot stress how nice the staff were, especially Daniel, I think he was the manager
Not a thing!
Perfect location, nice calm atmosphere
Nothing to dislike
Perfect position: by walk 3 min from the main bus station, 1 min from two stunning pubs, 5 min from center city. Clean, roomy, confortable.
Staff Food Location Comfort
Small old type TV
This hotel is very convenient for bars, shops and transport. The staff were very friendly.
No room service available.
location and price was brilliant
room was a bit chilly and could do with upgrading the tv
keys have to be left at reception bit of a joke really
all staff very friendly and helpful. Evening Meals reasonably priced. Wifi 8 times faster than at home. Only 5/10 mins drive from UHG.
No private car park, had to do several laps of city before I got parked, and then you have to pay-park.
We liked the hotel location and we found the staff very friendly. It was excellent value for money. We didnt take breakfast as we had to be down by 10.00AM. It was only €10 for two people which was great value. We had an evening meal in 'restaurant' which was also good quality and good value for money. We will go back there again!
The only real problem we had was noise from an outside extractor fan which stopped at about 4.00AM. At least it sounded like an extractor fan!! There was some stains on carpet in first bedroom but we got a change to a larger room at no extra costs
the hotel's ambience, staff helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed, had a good night's sleep.
Can't think of anything. We will stay there if we have to be in Galway again.
Easy to walk around town
No parking. Station parking a block away for 6E a day. We picked a wet windy day!!
Location is perfect
Not much atmosphere in hotel
