The Fairview is in the heart of Killarney's town center. This 4 star, boutique guesthouse features spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi, private bathrooms and hearty, Irish breakfasts. With lavish soft furnishings, each room is individually designed and some rooms have a luxurious spa bathtub. All feature a TV, an iron, and free tea and coffee. The Fifth Season Restaurant has a varied menu. The cuisine is traditional with a modern twist. The Fairview staff is very knowledgeable about Killarney and can provide recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The beautiful Killarney National Park is just a 15 minute walk away, while the Killarney Lakes can be reached in 30 minutes by foot. Great location, lovely decor small ammout of rooms gave a more homely feel spotless all round No onsite parking. Rooms were badly soundproofed quite noisey througout most of the night didnt get much sleep airconditioning unit on all night out side of our room. First place I have stayed in ireland that only had the 4 terrestrial channels no bbc was looking forward to catching a sports event when we checked in.

Our stay at the Guesthouse was excellent. The room was exceptionnaly well laid out and decorated. You can see that there was a special attention to detail by the owners and operators. The personnel was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to my friends. The only downside and it is a small one is that the lobby area is somewhat small and makes it a bit tight to manoeurver when there is high guest traffic.

The location was really great, as was the service. Due to a cancellation we received an upgrade to the penthouse suite for a very small upcharge, and it was wonderful. By far the best hotel experience we had while on our vacation.

Beautiful small boutique hotel right in the center of Killarney. Hugh rooms and great breakfast. Very close to the train station as well as center of town. But far enough away from the main avenue to be quiet. Great bike rental shop just around the corner. A must for the National Park. Interior sound-proofing is a bit weak. If you sleep-in at all, you will hear everything going on in the hallway like it was inside your room. But if you wake up before 8 it is not a problem.

Room was beautiful and staff were very professional. Located at the heart of the city for easy access to the shops and restaurants Street noise was excessive on our visit due to the rally but that was just bad timing.

I stayed in the Fairview guest house during the week, the staff were very friendly and helpful going out of their way to ensure you were happy, the room was brilliant big spacious room for a great price. The breakfast was superb a choice of everything.Located in the heart of Killarney town. This is advertised as a 4 star guest house where it should be a 4 star hotel! I will definitley be back and am happy to recommend.

This was a perfect place to stay to visit town and country. Can't say enough about the room we had which was the junior suite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast room was elegant and the service as superb as the food. the town location gave us opportunity to walk and explore while the beautiful parks, lakes and historical sites were minutes away. we were able to do the rings of Kerry and Dingle. Would welcome a chance to return!

The location couldn't have been better - right in the middle of town and able to walk to everything, to include the National Park. Staff was very friendly and helped us book tours, horseback riding, and recommended places to eat. Very nice decor, made us feel comfortable being in pleasant surroundings. Beds were not comfortable, but that is the ONLY criticism I have.
