Rooms were comfortable & Clean. Nice powerful shower. Very quiet location. Only 6 miles from Royal Cork Yacht Club in Crosshaven, convenient for sailors . The Hotel is impossible to find without local assitance. A signpost is required at the bottom of the road to indicate the turn and the distance to the hotel. Its run on a skeleton staff but this was not a particular problem for us. Perhaps for those who are staying around the hotel all day and evening it would present a problem. |

Quiet peaceful and relaxing, near to city but also in a countryside setting general appearance, especially the pool area in need of TLC |

On arrival I had to kill a few spiders in my room, it is very difficult to find the hotel, there is mold on walls in the swimming pool, you need to wait for breakfast. |

It was cheap and not too far from Cork city. Golf course if you're into that sort of thing. Tiny swimming pool. Mould on walls of room. Got smoking room though I booked non-smoking. Staff couldn't tell me how to get into town. |

The hotel is clean and spacious. The atmosphere was relaxed. The staff are friendly. The spa was quite good with a small pool, a good steam room and sauna - but note that there is no Jacuzzi. There is a nice “out of town” feeling but it is close to Carrigaline and Cork is only a few Miles away. Although this hotel is very adequate it lacks the finesse of other hotels I have used in the area. Menu is very limited but food is fine - think in terms of pub grub. The hotel also seems to be under staffed. At checkout they will only let you use local currency (Euro) payment on your credit card so it is at their exchange rate – but it was not too far out. |

friendly staff especially the reception area. Room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Tea and coffee facility was well stocked daily.limited menu but very tasty food and catered for vegetarians as well. Two things which irritated me there was no residents bar over the five nights our group stayed despite advertising so. Also the evening meal was off the hotel grounds and even though it was a short walk two of our guests have walking difficulties so we had to drive over each time. |

The room was very clean and bright. The food while limited in choice was very tasty and freshly cooked having to go from the main hotel to the clubhouse for our main meal was inconvenient especially on a wet day |

quiet, clean and comfortable corridors and reception area were worn and tatty. The breakfast staff whilst pleasant did not have any English and so could not answer questions posed by guests. |

I enjoyed the peace and quietness in the living quarters and the general relaxisation about booking in and out in other words hassle free I would prefer if the club house bar had more definite closing times |

I think it's unfair this is classified as 2 * hotel as all facilities are in place and cleanliness level is high. It needs some pepping up in terms of modernising the entrance and maybe the food on offer but otherwise this hotel has a beautiful location and is great value. |

As I was the only guest and when I arrived I had to sort my self out, not seeing anybody till the following morning, my views are somewhat biased. When I saw her the receptionist was very good, helpful and pleasant. Being the only guest meant that some of the facilities were not available at the hotel, you had to go to the golf clubhouse. |

The hotel was closed and I was allocated a house in the grounds. I was not informed of this until 5pm on the day of check in. No breakfast was available to suit a business customers although sold as a hotel B&B package. There were no staff on site over night e.g. reception desk, in case of emergency. |
