Convenience for golf & reasonable Green Fees. Tasty well cooked Breakfast Although she had to serve everybody on her own, girl on duty was excellent and no delay. Comfortable beds .
Real need for own transport as Bus route was in nearest village. No net curtains for privacy on ground floor. Scarcity of shelf space in bathroom. Hand basin plugs & tap top loose. Extremely slow service at breakfast one morning. Far too many diners to be served by one waiter.
No restaurant or bar in the hotel. Staff were friendly but thats the only positive for this hotel
not alot the staff in the golf club were lovely as was the food
the beds were damp as were the spare pillows. the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned and the smell of must and damp in the corridor and the room was really terrible.
location as we were attending a reception in the club house
Internet poor. Gave me a wonky old iron which left all brown gunk on my white shirt!
Staff very helpful and friendly Food good Very impressed. Would stay here again
Room very comfortable, good breakfast. Evening meal at club house excellant, plus lovely staff but......
Evening meal at club house, dark walk back to hotel.
The staff and the food
The hotel needs a lot of attention
The staff are awesome especially Alison at reception and Lucy the waitress. They made us feel so at home and were really friendly. Would highly recommend plus the food was excellent and value for money. The golf course was a beautiful setting as well.
That we only had 1 day there.
Comfortable, family friendly, and friendly staff.
It's a little far out so you would need a car and you have to leave the hotel and go to the club house to go to the bar. But a nice place once you know what to expect.
Scenery Rooms were spacious and comfortable Ideal location for a quiet getaway Romantic Shower was amazing
Hard to actually find the hotel as it is not on a main road Bar and restaurant were not in the hotel. They were located in another building
golf course was acceptable location was acceptable weather was good
would not go back would not recommend poor untrained staff corridor smell towels not changed room not clean bed not made poor quality bed linen I regret staying at this dive
Breakfast was very good and the Staff were very friendly. Could be so much better.
Reception often unattended, T.V reception awful, road/path up to the Building in very poor condition.Accomodation had an old and weary feel about it.Almost impossible to locate, little or no signage.
staff lovely, food lovely, bedroom very comfy.
location very bad to find. having to go over to golf club for dinner and drinks a bit of a a pain. musty smell in the hotel.
country club food was good
the place was filthy dead flies and cobwebs on window sill, broken window in room, dirt at bottom of bath was booked in for 5 nights ran after the first night.no bar open and no one on reception very poor .
Quality Room very nice setting once I found it.
A bit hard to find when your not from the area, when phoned the hotel for directions the member of staff had just started and could not help! I asked it a town aprox. 5 miles away and was sent in the wrong direction. Not on Sat. Nav. with address given.
Close to cork city easy to find! Breakfast was nice
Bedroom- window wouldn't shut plants growing in the window. Carpet was filthy, bed clothes had stains on it! Shower wouldn't work overall kids enjoyed the breakaway as they were oblivious to the poor quality but at 69 you'd expect the shower to work and bed clothes to be clean!
Golf club and restaurant
Not very easy to reach. Narrow streets. Few street direction.
staff v.friendly, food excellent, clean
only wifi in lobby area
From walking in the door, the smell in the corridor, disgusting. Portable tv in the bedroom, thing of the past. Hotel needs to upgrade. The breakfast service was a joke. Staff not experienced. My breakfast came out first, I had finished when my husbands came out and it was missing certain items that came out on a seperate plate a few minutes later. With two young children, to be sitting waiting for breakfast and keeping them entertained. We couldn't get out of that hotel fast enough, suppose to stay two nights, one was one too many. Not family friendly at all.
Room, cleanliness, quiet
Nothing, all good
Staff not very friendly, breakfast a shambles only one untrained waitress on, waited a long time for food, lots of items on menu not available when ordered. The waitress's excuse for delay was they were very busy only four tables occupied....when eventually a more senior staff member arrived her excuse was the usual chef was off that day. Paid €89 for one night b&b not good value for money and was embarrassing to see foreign visitors having to put up with bad service not a good advert for tourism in Ireland. We will not be staying here again.
The manner in which complaint was dealt with
Food in club house was disgusting garlic bread made with burger bap and spinach and carbonara tastes like mushroom soup
Staff very nice
Needs a bit of a update
The Staff are so friendly. Will be back again and again
