The hosts are great, the view is superb. A really pleasant place to stay. Besides, the owners recommended me a very good restaurant (Marlboro House) The password for the wi-fi access is 26 characters long :)) - and in the end it proved to be wrong :) |

Excellent seaview and proximity to shore and facilities within the town. Pleasant staff and efficient service. Convenience for exploring the surrounding countryside. |

Very plesant family run hotel, central to town centre, good sized clean rooms and excelent bistro/restaurant for evening dining. Impressive selection of wines and whiskeys in the bar. Front rooms had a lovely view of the sea/bay but it was a bit noisy due to proximity to busy town roads. In hindsight if staying again, we would probably forego the sea view and take a back of hotel room to avoid the traffic noise. |

The Hotel rightly deserves its awards ,The owners could not have been any more helpful. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was second to none , The chap who was serving turned out to be the owners son and was very nice and very courteous, This is definetely a highly recommended hotel .. |

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were quite friendly. Hotel was nice and clean. I was not told that tea making facilities were available on the bottom floor, and only noticed it on the way out to come home. |

We liked the gentleman who appeared to be the owner. We was very pleasant and not in any shape or form how he was described in previous reviews. We were made to feel very welcome Weather in Bundoran was awful...but not the hotels fault. |

Warm welcome. Generous sized room. Cleanliness very good. Well heated room. Beautiful view across Donegal Bay. The 'complimentary cup of tea' - poor indeed; location, tea-making etc. not good at all. Better do it well or not at all. |

We loved the reception rooms which had lots of interesting and imaginative paintings, prints and ceramics. The bistro was exceptional and the service, style, surroundings and food was of a very good standard. We had a picture window in the bedroom overlooking Donegal bay and could sit watching the sun go down and people surfing at low tide. The bedroom was very spacious with pleasant decor. I was not convinced that we were warmly welcomed and there was a slight lack of professionalism in attitude and behaviour of staff but it did not significantly affect our overall very pleasant experience. |

The Grand Central Hotel is ideally located on the Main Street of the tourist town of Bundoran, on the coast of County Donegal. |
Making for a lovely weekend with its low-key, late-Georgian elegance and warmth, we are situated in the peace and quiet of gently rolling hills just outside Donegal town. |
The Beach Hotel overlooks the harbour, mountains, beach and Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy delicious seafood and wines, great views and experience outdoor activities. |
