Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel  

the hotel and staff were excellent, really enjoyed our stay so much so that we extended our stay from 2 days to 3 days, we had great night entertainment with Crystal Swing on Sat night and then Robert Mizzel on Sun night

maybe a little brighter light in bedroom for reading purposes, television in bedrooms could be a little more modern and clearer

Very nice hotel if you want to take a break from the hussle and bussle of crowds and want to relax away from the townlife. I throughly enjoed the spa and leisure facilities. I didn't like the idear of a free for all at the breakfast arrangements, I would much prefre to be served my breakfast. The hallway leading to the bedrooms was freezing on arrival and throughtout the duration of our stay, this was very disapointing as the weather was very cold and wet.

There was a good atmosphere about the hotel and it was well decorated for the christmas period we all realy enjoyed our stay.

stayed for a wedding, extremely comfortable beds, brilliant shower, breakfast in bed. pure bliss!

The care and attention of the staff, and a good gym/pool facility.

I felt the function bar offered poor quality wine and was expensive.

I liked everything about the Woodlands Hotel. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The swimming pool was very clean and spacious. The hotel has a warm friendly atmosphere.

I feel that a signpost for the hotel at the small roundabout on the Limerick/ Tralee road, where you turn off for the hotel,would be helpful. As it is we ended up in Adare and had to backtrack after asking a passerby for directions.

Was using a voucher for golf at Adare Manor so location of hotel was ideal. Staff were friendly and room was comfortable.

Breakfast was disappointing. While there was good selection of food available it seemed like it was in containers for a while , even though we ate early enough. Staff and service was good though.

Rooms very nice and comfortable, fab location. Breakfast very good. Meals at Timmy Macs also very good.Friendly staff, very helpful. Plenty of parking, good entertainment

Excellent facilities and friendly helpful staff. The spa was the best I have ever visited.

The hotel was a fabulous family run hotel . The food was delicious, the grounds really relaxing, the staff in this hotel are the best staff I have encountered in my many years staying in hotels in Ireland. All had a smile on their faces at all times, nothing was too much truoble and their job seemed to be to make sure each guest was treated like royalty.

The lighting was poor in the bedrooms and in the dining room. I know it needs to be energy efficient but it made the room look a bit depressing. It needs an upgrade.
