Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel  

La cama estaba cómoda. La vista al mar es preciosa.

La sra. Que nos recibió nos asesoró mal sobre el tren, y tuvimos que pagar una multa de $200 por su mal asesoramiento. Adicionalmente, el hotel está muy desgastado; el papel de pared se despegaba solo, las tuberías estaban trancadas... Cuando nos quejamos, nos ignoraron porque era domingo y su departamento no abría hasta el lunes a las 9 A.M., y a esa hora ya nos habíamos ido. No regreso.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke on bedroom corridor. A lot of noise in middle of night, general decor on corridors and rooms & bathrooms very tired

I travel on business to this area on a regular basis and have tried a number of the hotels in the surrounding area, Radisson Blu, Bewleys, Stilorgan Park, The Royal Marine but I've found none of them to be as welcoming and as comfortable as the Fitzpatrick, the staff are fantastic and the place has some character about it. It's a home away from home for me

A lovely hotel that's good for a family holiday. Nicely located for walks and coffee shops and city centre isn't too far away either. Rooms are huge and very comfortable.

I liked the dining options in the hotel. It's suited to business travellers. The room was very spacious with a spacious bathroom. The large car park is another bonus.

The room was slightly dated. It has a well worn feel to it. No sockets next to the bed for phone charger. You could feel the cut backs that are evident in alot of hotels in this climate. Lightbulbs missing/waiting staff running in all directions etc. It needs slight modernisation to live up to its excellent reputation.

Room allocated was smelling so much smoke that I asked for a change. I got a disabled room (300) and low height of equipment was not very convenient (I am 1.70m tall). I did not have time to take any breakfast, they charged the 3.

I really liked the rooms, the bed and balcony were great. The breakfast for 12 Euros was also well worth it. It was a lovely place.

The only problem I had whilst staying in the hotel was the walk down the hill to the main street. However, this was only a very small problem.

Not impressed with being forgotten about at Dungeon Bar and Grill. It took the forth request to four different people to have our order taken (over the period of an hour).

No complaints other than the lack of a lounge; there is just a bar with tables and chairs. It would have been nice to have the opportunity relax in a more comfortable seating area with sofas and armchairs.
