The food was lovely & the staff were pleasant &helpful.
The bath was high and difficult to step out of.
Location, surroundings, staff, restaurants, music, pool, everything was really posh. Close to the beautiful Vico Road.
Tap water provided in the room not great.
friendly staff, clean rooms
The noise, walls are so thin I heard the alarm from next door, and can give you every word from a phone conversation the lady next door had
Very large family room ideal for families. Plenty room for Kids to run around and pkay in room.
Got lunch in hotel and waited 50 mins for a wrap, burger and chicken nuggets for kids. Long wait with a 1 and 3 year old and not an apology in sight.
Booked a room, was given a suite, was excellsnt, clean, comfirtable and beautiful view.
Beautiful hotel but some of the decor is dated
The style of building. A lot of character. The huge bedroom and large comfortable bed. the pool and spa.
Hotel was in a great location. the staff were helpful and friendly.
Room was very tired. could do with some updating. it was extremely warm in the room as well and the window was either painted shut or nailed closed. when we checked in the staff at the desk phoned through to the restaurant to see if they were still serving food. they were told yes and went down to the restaurant straight away. sadly they refused to serve us and said they stopped serving 20 minutes beforehand.
Loved the hotel rooms were big and spacious.
Wasn't 100% clean there was grapes lying on the floor under the table but defo would stay again
family room very large lovely park and village near hotel hotel easy found staff friendly
wi fi didnt work
I like everything about the Hotel as it has many happy memories. Location is superb Area has great walks Easy access to the Country & the City
This hotel just confirms a long held view that it is staff on welcome and thereafter that make (or not) a stay and this hotel does this in spades.
Great personal service from the staff.
Limited disabled persons access.
i cannot fault anything with fitzpatricks castle. it certainly lived up to thegood reputation it has. have frequented thishotel at funtions on severaloccasions before but this wasthefirst time staying as aguest. the staff were most efficient, pleasant, and very quick. we dined in the dungeon restaurant in which the food was top class. the selection of food at breakfast was excellent. the whole interior/ decor was very plush. the entire hotel was spotless. i would definitly return again. thank you for the excellent service we received.
iwas not impressed at the toilet paper in the bathroom, it was extremely poor quality which surprised me given the fact fitzpatricks castle is a luxurious hotel.
The food was fantastic I was with the wedding party and everything was just a1 Congratulations to the staff.
There was nothing I did not like
The restaurant was also a big hit.
Not a hole lot it was old it really needs a good clean
The place is in bits falling apart the lifts are not great I don't think I would stay again I'd have to think long and hard
You are treated like royalty!
Staff were excellent. Room upgraded on arrival. Food in The Grill was excellent as was breakfast
Bathrooms a bit dated Not really convenient to the local town
The ambience and staff
The heat in the bed room - no air conditioning
The friendly staff, the room, the bed, the pool, the food, the beer and everything.
wobbly table in the bar!!
Had a 2 night stay at the Hotel, it's a lovely place to stay with gardens and a nice view. The room we stayed in was a twin and had 2 double beds. food was very nice as well.
excellent gym facilitates and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
This restored castle was the hightlight of our trip to Ireland. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent -helpful and friendly. Facilities available included a pool, fitness room, Wifi, and restaurants. We only wished we could have stayed a week rather than just one night!
We loved the location, the walks, the town of Dalkey, the history of area and the surrounding area is beautiful. We had just come from London, so the slower pace was much appreciated. Close to Dublin, by train, but far enough away to enjoy the countryside and ocean.
The buffet breakfast was not our favourite, so we enjoyed the town and nearby restaurants, for some of the best restaurants in Great Britain
wifi was exceptional, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
