staff was helpful and friendly. not a convenient location for the airport shuttle. no lift. the walls were too thin - we could hear the neighbor's television. the rooms could use a good deep cleaning. |

Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Creaky floorboards and television is in awkward place for viewing from bed. Kettle area could do with a little more space |

The hotel was fairly quiet, and I was able to get some sleep. It is also very centrally located, and reasonably proced for a Dublin 2-star hotel. 1. I was asked for a photo ID on checking in. Quite extraordinary, and unique in my experience (of over 25 years) of using Irish hotels. 2. The breakfast was appalling - I had something which was claimed to be a full Irish breakfast; it was badly cooked, and the ingredients looked dubious. 3. I would advise the management to hire some Irish staff to show them how to do reception and breakfast. |

the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly...the rooms did a good job of making the most out of small spaces...it was the small things that went a long way in making me feel comfortable and at home...in quiet part of city but close enough to walk everywhere |

The staff are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. Its a lovely building and in a great location and a short walking to shops and bus tours. |

Rude, charisma-bereft reception staff who photocopied my ID without permission or explanation; the bedroom not made up at 4p.m.; a dreadful smell everywhere; cramped conditions; lack of air conditioning; a shower that didn't work; stained furniture and a ludicrous, excessive room rate. |

I had a most enjoyable stay very pleasant staff and very welcoming. Its a fine old Georgian House and well kept. I found the rooms comfortable and quiet. The location was good for me only a few minutes from Stephens Green Park No lift |

The website advertises parking, but this is only available up to 8am. Check out time is 11 not 12. A lot of traffic noise. |

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a stop over in Dublin. The reception staff were very helpful, and the hotel was very central to where we needed to be. It's a pity we had the front room as we were right beside reception but even so, it wasn't uncomfortably noisy. |

The location was perfect! I can't imagine a better spot in Dublin for seeing all of the sites. Plus it was close to the train and bus stations for easy day-trips. The staff were great, very helpful. Other reviews had warned us about any negatives such as thin walls, no elevator and specific front desk hours, so we weren't upset about anything. |
