Score from 911 reviews Good
Comfortable, very kind staff, included a bath and toiletries, great location and fantastic breakfast
accessories by Primark such as shower curtain, bed clothes etc.
Hotel clean and comfortable and very convenient to Eyre Square
Foyer lacked a warm feeling on entering the hotel and this could be rectified by changing the colour scheme and introducing some soft lighting by way of a few large table lamps
The receptionist was so lovely when we checked in. Room lovely and clean. Breakfast lovely but the best thing was the location. It couldn't have been better just beside Eyre Square a s right beside a car Park. I will most definitely stay here again.
excellent location, pleasant staff, good food in the bar, had a great weekend here
Bar staff where so friendly loacation great
Reception lady was so unplesent room was dated and awful noisy had to pay 15euro to park my car
Comfortable clean room. Lovely breakfast and very courteous staff. Gentleman on desk at check in very helpful and Iwona at breakfast very nice and diligent in her work.
Maintenance knocking at the bedroom door at 9am to see if anyone was in the room. Only negative part of the stay. Planned a lie in but was awake for the day after that.
Really enjoyed my say. I cannot fault it
Great place for a great value and location. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Clean, comfortable, pleasant and quiet.
The breakfast was a bit confusing. Looked like a buffet and was not made aware of a menu. Breakfast staff could improve a bit on customer service. Not bad though.
Great location and real value for money. Dont skip breakfast to save a few quid as you will miss out big time :)
Great location. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Good size flat screen tv.
Bar lacks a bit of atmosphere. Parking not included.
location staff breakfast
loud vibrating noise in room from fan or air conditioning... we had to ask to be moved. other room was still quite noisy
Comfortable bed, lots of room, good size tv, breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful
Heating in the room was a bit too hot and there was no way for us to turn it down ourselves but there was a fan provided in the room
Location Value for money Helpful staff
Believe it or not Room was too hot.
Myself and my partner booked here to stay because we had stayed here a number of times (more than 5 or 6 to be exact) Check in was handled quick and in a professional manner. When we got to our room you could not swing a cat in there as the saying goes. Our friends checked in at a later time and out of interest sake I compared there room to ours and was happy they got a large room but was also baffled as to why my Partner and I got a tiny room in comparison. (we are regular stayers here and this should have been known from the system). Aside from the room being a major let down the breakfast was spot on yet again. Wifi also a bit spotty. I would have to seriously reconsider whether or not to return as I am unsure our stays are being acknowledged.
Stated above- wifi and room size for regular customers.
Ease of access to Galway Comfort Nice staff Incredible breakfast spread
Found it a bit hard to figure out where the parking was - the hotel has deal with a city centre car park rather than their own stand alone car park. It might just have been me in a rush though
Food was excellent
Abit noisy at night , room was to front
The staft at reception very welcoming. breakfast really nice and all food at breakfast fresh.
Thought the bathroom needed some upkeep. floor tile cracked and grount around bath needed update
Everything - the staff, the food & the whole ambience was heartfelt genuine interest in communicating & pleasing their customers. Its a 2min walk -to the centre of Eyre Square & on Shop Street, Galway.
Having to vacate the hotel & return home to my own bed.
Great location and good price
No free parking
No place to unload luggage from car
Lovely staff and good breakfast
Noise from radiators and funny smell in room
Its just off Shop Street with a multi store parking centre just behind the hotel, €12 for 24hours. Nice bar, good choice of food, eat in both bar and restaurant, both good.
Didnt like being woke at 6am when the heating came on and the noise from the radiator sounded like the whole piping system was coming in on top of us. I'm sure it was just a once off - i was only staying the one night.
Central hotel close to city centre, very comfortable and great value for money.
The hotel is old and does not look like the pictures. The first night the noise was crazy from traffic. You could hear every bus from the station across the road. It was like they were driving through the room. The room we moved to the second night had a broken window and the heating rattled all night. We are easily pleased but this was terrible. No exaggeration.Stay somewhere else.
Patrick the bar man was very pleasant and is very good at his job. The staff were helpful and obliging. Enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend your hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay
Didn't like there was only a small space to hang clothes and there was only 4 hangers on the rail. There seemed to be a few hangers missing.
