This hotel is so close to everything, its the perfect location just off Eyre Square and right beside the train and bus depot. Its very modern, comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. My only complaint would be that the night we stayed the fire alarm went off at half 4 in the morning waking us up. It continued for ten minutes then shut off then continued to stop and start for another few minutes. There was nothing said at reception the next morning while checking out. I was expecting an apology at the very least.

Myself and my hubby stayed here weekend 27-29 August I had booked it as part of his 40th birtday present... best thing I ever did.. From the moment I entered the lobby the staff couldnt have done enough for us... they even showed hubby where car park was which we got at a discounted rate and was so convienent to hotel... The room we got was excellent nice modern contemporary decor and large bathroom with excellent shower and we had a balacony view which was great... Breakfast was served from 7.30-12noon which was great or later if you required... and food was great and excellent choice... again staff were brillant couldnt do enough for us or other guests.. although we didnt eat in the resturant due to prior arrangments the food which we saw been taken to diners tables looked excellent.. lovely bar and again staff brillant... I dont think Ive ever been to a hotel were the staff looked busy and productive the whole time.. well done to you all.. as for loaction couldnt have got better just off Eyre Square convienant to everything... and of course reasonably priced... would def come back again and definatley recommend ... Thanks to all the staff for a pleasureable stay

2nd trip to this hotel. It has been revonated since our last trip and has been done very well. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The layout of the bar is lovely and the staff there were very nice including the night porter who was very good at his job. Centrally located to Eyre Square and the shopping areas. The fact that there is no parking but near a car park. The price for leaving the car for 2 days was €20.00 which I thought was a little dear.

On entering the hotel the reception staff set the tone for the whole weekend. Polite, friendly, and courteous. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Food very nice. Location excellent. Good value for money. Will stay again.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of it and hot. Served promptly, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.Less than 5 mins walk to centre of Galway city, bus station and train station within 3 minutes walk. As our room was at the front of hotel near to Eyre Square it was noisy during the night at times, but this probably couldn't be helped due to it's central location. Also there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the corridor outside, though not in the room.

We stayed at Forster Court for two nights. Our room rate included breakfast at the lovely restaurant in the Forster Court Hotel. The breakfast consisted of buffet items as well as items from the menu. The food was enjoyed by all. We returned to the restaurant for dinner and again enjoyed wonderful meals. From the hotel we had easy access via walking to the both bus stations, information center, bus tours and shopping and dining areas. The hotel was clean and attractive. Everyone we encountered who worked at the hotel was pleasant. We were especially impressed by the restaurant staff. We stayed in September and while it was rainy and cool outside we found our room to be too warm. Heat is available but no air conditioning.

Great location within walking distance to Eyre Square, the shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Nice choice of breakfast which was served until 12.00pm and after this time its served all day in the bar... Didn't like that the room had no air conditioning, the window in the room was small with a tiny opening, but when I requested a fan from reception it was supplied without any fuss.

I liked this hotel because of its location, rate and friendly staff. We were also able to check in early, approx 1.30pm and check out later that would have normally been the case. The room was functional with a large flat screen tv. All usual room extras were available and we were given back of hotel accommodation to avoid the Sunday night noise coming from the street. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the hotel which were both excellent and again good value for money. The rate we got through booking.com was the best of any site visited at the time. Finally I would recommend this hotel for those wanting a short weekend break based in the centre of Galway

It was a center city hotel that was excellent value for the money. Great breakfast, staff was nice, rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was conveniently located. There was a car park that had 10 euro rates, but it was a 5 minute walk and there was not an east luggage drop off by the hotel. Next to the Park Hotel, which is a bit nicer, but not 40 euro nicer!

I've never stayed in an hotel that was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we checked in the man on reception was lovely as were all the staff. The food was excellent too. I asked for a quiet room which I got and it was very comfortable. Will definitely go back!

The staff were very friendly. They helped us book a day trip to The Cliffs of Moher. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfasts. Only a short walk to the shops and pubs. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative comment I could give would be that the room was a bit too warm at times but other than that everything was perfect.

Very friendly staff. Relaxed and easy going. Option of late checkout excellent. Breakfast (which was included in our room charge) was very nice. Great location-one minute walk to Eyre Square. We also dined in the hotel restaurant. The dinner was beautiful, and great value for money. The hotel seem to pride themselves on very friendly, flexible staff. Would stay there again. I cant speak for all the rooms, but the shower in our room had only lukewarm water, and the pressure kept going from low to high. Also, we had to pay for parking in a nearby car park. It was at a discounted rate because we had stayed in the hotel, but thhis should be included in the price of the room, as it is an extra unecessary charge that you dont have to pay for even in other city centre hotels.

I booked in as it was 15 euro cheaper than its nearest rival. What I hadnt anticipated was that for myself and my girlfriend to stay there we both had to park our cars in the public car park, at a total extra cost of €20. The next morning I had to wait 30 minutes for 3 slices of toast, and the restaurant wasn't entirely busy. Front door had broken glass. Had to knock on front door to be let in.
