Everything was perfect, excellent breakfast, fantastic location!
Having to leave!
Good bar menu
Staff lovely room good food good lounge at front of hotel very poor seats all torn and grubby
Lounge at front of hotel very poor seating all needs to. Be replaced immediately
The location was good & the staff on the whole were helpful. The room was quiet enough & the beds were really comfy!
We did not like that we had to park in the train station/bus depot car park at €6 per day up the road. The cooked breakfast was not nice at all....funny tasting microwaved scrambled eggs & hard microwaved tomatoes. There was also one quite rude girl at breakfast who asked us if we were sure we checked in with our room number before entering the dining room & was very grumpy taking our order. The other staff we encountered however were lovely.
Everything you could want for a short break
location was excellent. breakfast was lovely.
Over priced because of galway races.
The bar/dining facilities and room were of a very high standard, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, I'll recommend this hotel very highly to anyone I know.
Just one little minor thing that got me was that the breakfast was very salty.
Bedrooms are lovely and the 5e coupon for early bird there was a nice touch.
Location was excellent. Staff were awesome.
Only one complaint- there was a bad smell in one corner of the room.
location breakfast which was excellent
room was very small and did not look fresh. stair carpet completely worn out hotel is in need of a total overhaul
The location was perfect, the breakfast was nice the staff were very helpful and the bed was comfortable. It's really close to the bus station and city centre.
The bar toilets were updated near the bar, would be nice to see the same quality in the foyer and the rest of hotel. There was no air ventilation in the toilets of the rooms well if there were ours didn't work, and in the bedrooms the window wouldn't fully open so it was very stuffy and uncomfortable. We asked for a fan but they only had a heater which could blow air around but didn't work. But in the winter I'm sure it's not a problem. Still a nice place to stay.
Great location near Eyre Square within easy walking distance to main sights. A good restaurant / bar downstairs and very helpful staff.
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is minutes away from the train station.
The room and bathroom were large. We had a balcony and even though it faced the street, it wasn't very noisy. Just a block from Eyre Square/Kennedy Park and close to all the pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was very good. We didn't eat in the restaurant.
The furniture was scratched up, but that was the only dislike.
Stag friendly, friendly and helpful staff, great city centre location, good food and comfortable rooms.
The rooms were OK, nothing spectacular, the views were of Jungle Cafe, a local church and the main street. It was hot weather but the room had a portable fan which helped. Reception lady and staff generally were very friendly and helpful but the best thing was the breakfast which was very good. Had a selection of hot food which you could order from the kitchen and also yogurt, croissants etc on the side which you can help yourselves to. Hotel was very conveniently located just beside Galway coach station which was great if you're coming by bus from Dublin. It's also located adjacent to Eyre Street where all the main shops are, and a 5minute walk to Budget car rental where we rented our car. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a decent and comfortable stay at Galway. No regrets whatsoever.
Staff was brilliant
Room was small and quite expensive
Great location close to the main square.
Facilities were bare minimum.
Location was perfect.
The room and bed were comfortable, and the bathroom was big and clean. The restaurant downstairs was convenient and breakfast was included.
The WIFI didn't work in our room.
Excellent location, comfortable hotel
