Moments walk from the center of town, great breakfast, and epic café across the street.
Rooms were a bit hot and it was a tad noisy. But the proximity won out!
Staff great Food excellent Centrally located
Small room for 3 adults Bathroom alittle crowded
The staff who were friendly, helpful and obliging. The room which was comfortable and roomy. The breakfasts which were great with lots of choice. The location which was very central and close to transit points.
Nothing - everything was great.
Very good food , Staff very friendly
welcome at reception room clean diary free porridge arranged for us no problem very helpful staff in restaurant
Window overlooking internal courtyard and air conditioning/fan extracts very noisy could not leave window open and no air conitioning in room
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location was very good.
Bathrooms in need of an update. And carpet in stairway and hallways is threadbare. Furniture is quite old and looks heavily used and dated.
value for money location cleanliness staff politeness great rooms
there was nothing not to like
Great hotel excellent location just a 2 min walk to eyre square and night life. Staff very friendly this is my second time staying at this hotel for 3 nights each time would defo recommend. You get what you pay for a central location and no need for taxis
The staff at the hotel are very friendly, warm and helpful. It's this hotel's greatest asset.
We booked half board and whilst the food in general was very good there isn't much variety to choose from. The common areas need some attention, the bar settees need renewing they are worn out.
It was a lovely modern room,
Although the room was lovely, I woke up to a builder sitting right outside my window, had to keep curtains closed, room was very dark
I had a great stay, a lovely hotel in a great location, I even walked passed it as it was so close to Eyre Square. James was class in the bar ....overall a great place to stay, eat and have a laugh...Cheers and see you again
Very convenient for trip to the Aran Islands.
A little run down and smelled a little like unclean.
The lady at reception gave me a lend of an umbrella when it was raining and another member of staff went out to get me soy milk for breakfast! Really really helpful and lovely!
Good WiFi receptionist was friendly good location
Guinness was terrible in the bar poor menu choice in the bar also. Noise from the street was terrible during the night . Breakfast staff not very friendly
No night music.
The only good was the location, right on Eryle Square. But that was all....
The bed was the worst. The room was super small for 160 euros. The door handle on the bathroom fell off. We got the included breakfast, which ended at 10:30AM, and when we went down at 10:30 they said it was over. We said ok, and went across the street to Jungle Cafe (much better anyways). When I asked for a refund they said no. Ok, that's understandable. When we walked outside, there was a sign for all day breakfast. When I went back in to the reception to ask about it, they said that's just for non-residents. WTF? That is just poor service and there was really no reason to do that...other than rip me off. Oh, and parking is not free...it's discounted to 12 euros. All in all...don't stay here! The park hotel next door seems much much better!
clean and staff very friendly at reception and dinning good location vaulue good for center of galway
could do with safe in room.
Everything was perfect, excellent breakfast, fantastic location!
Having to leave!
Good bar menu
Staff lovely room good food good lounge at front of hotel very poor seats all torn and grubby
Lounge at front of hotel very poor seating all needs to. Be replaced immediately
The location was good & the staff on the whole were helpful. The room was quiet enough & the beds were really comfy!
We did not like that we had to park in the train station/bus depot car park at €6 per day up the road. The cooked breakfast was not nice at all....funny tasting microwaved scrambled eggs & hard microwaved tomatoes. There was also one quite rude girl at breakfast who asked us if we were sure we checked in with our room number before entering the dining room & was very grumpy taking our order. The other staff we encountered however were lovely.
Everything you could want for a short break
location was excellent. breakfast was lovely.
Over priced because of galway races.
The bar/dining facilities and room were of a very high standard, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, I'll recommend this hotel very highly to anyone I know.
Just one little minor thing that got me was that the breakfast was very salty.
