Full Irish Breakfast - Rashers too salty. Food fried and not asked if you wanted it grilled or poached. Plate full of food, which had no taste or flavour. Real pity. I'd prefer a quality breakfast. There are so many good brands of Irish sausages, rashers and black and white pudding. |

I thought the bar facilities were dreadful. We decided to have a drink there about 7.30 on a sunday evening. The bar was filthy as were all other areas of the bar. Three people were lying across seats, some asleep. It appeared that the place had not been cleaned since the day before. It let the rest of the hotel down big time. |

The room was attractive, spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were very nicely done and the diningroom was pleasant. The staff was helpful, pleasant and unobtrusive. Nothing. |

I liked the location. it is in the very centre of the town and is great for dining and socialising. There was a terrible musty smell in the hotel. Also, there was no lift and a steep two story climb to the 2nd floor. |

We were welcomed to the hotel by the girl at the front desk, I think her name was Jude, she was very friendly without being intrusive. The hotel was a breath of fresh air in the fact that it retains a sense of it's own identity which very few Irish hotels achieve. |

The Marconi restaurant - simply the best meal we've had in ages. The staff were ultra efficient and helpful Breakfast could go up a notch or two in quality. eg good quality muesli, fresh homemade bread and real orange juice would have been nice. The traditional Irish fry was standard fayre - nothing special |

It was a nice small Hotel and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. It was not possible to get food during the night - we were starving and would have loved a sandwich nothing fancy just a plain simple sandwich!!!. Also we asked the night porter to ring a taxi for a friend and they wouldn't and they also would not give us any taxi numbers they were very unhelpful. |

Since I was only sleeping at the hotel, I didn't have an opportunity to try their breakfasts or use the bar. However, generally the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the one dinner I had was of good quality. Its carpets - which were old and too "busy" for my taste; also, the fact that there were no lifts and one had to carry luggage up stairs. I also was surprised that despite being July, there was no Resident's Lounge facility. |

The bed was infested with bed bugs and I came away with bites all over my lower legs. As well at breakfast there was a hair in my food. They have a lot of staff but they should look into the cleanliness of the hote. |
