Friendly, great room, good location.
Old fashioned dated uncomfortable wouldn't go back was to glad to be going home wasn't a tiny bit pleased was ragging with the night away
The helpful staff and the atmosphere of the hotel, They do a very nice breakfast as well. There is still a lot of authenticity in this place which I love.
The shower did not get really warm and not a very strong wifi signal in the rooms
Food was good
Seriously lads , the fire escape for the first floor is through the ensuite in room 109 ! You're having a shower wondering if the next person down the hall will open the door !!!!
Central location and close to many bars and restaurants. Didn't eat in the hotel this time but we have in the past and it was excellent. Informal approach and a front door key for everyone availing of the "Late Bars" in the town.
Can't really fault this hotel. Excellent location, staff very warm and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Fantastic food and service in the restaurant. A lovely family run hotel.
Friendly, informal atmosphere. Great location. Lovely 'old world' decor. Class all the way around.
Music in bar played very late and loud meaning no sleep till it was over. Yes it was a festival weekend but still...
lovely old style hotel beautifull reception area very friendly staff top marks all around. I will be back.
helpful pleasant staff great food
Foyles is a bit like going home to a great meal with familiar friends.
The room is big, location excellent as We wanted to spend a day in Bunratty Castle. The food in the restaurant is very tasty!
We stayed on the ground floor and lots of guests leaving early in the morning passed by our room draggind their luggage, talking loudly, banging doors at 6am we were woken up by the noise.
shower did not work dining room was not very clean bar was like a building site
Loved the ambiance in this hotel! All of the staff were friendly. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The location was great, right in the heart of everything.
The bed was too hard for our taste
Super location .famtastic staff,excellent dinner.
No car parking, not enough variety in breakfast menu(too much emphasis on fries)
Location, price, facility. Overall nought wrong for a night's stop over.
Bathroom could do with an upgrade
The cosy armchairs in the sunny window. Excellent restaurant great breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere in the foyer where people meet and readily fall into conversation. I like the sense that it is a family run hotel and its welcoming nature.
Friendly staff and good food
Great location, fabulous food in a lovely quaint hotel
value for money central location room size
only to say breakfast from 08.30 is a wee bit late. 08.00 would be better...
Nice family run hotel centrally located in Clifden town with friendly staff. Large bedroom and bathroom. Good restuarant located in hotel with excellent food at reasonable prices.
decor very dated
Old style hotel. Lovely breakfast, Friendly staff. Clean room but old
No hot water. This was mentioned to the receptionist. No apologies were given. Were unable to stay the second night. We were charged €12.50 each which is more than 15% of our quotated rate
