a really nice guesthouse, the first staff that received us was great, even if in the bed period for water we had no problems. for a pregnant woman is not that easy to reach it because it is on a hill but it's quiet and nice to stay there. Breakfast... great, delicious! the only thing was that the room was a bit cold, also because of the outside low temperature. |

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, despite the difficukties they had because of the flooding. The location was excellent, as it was situated only 5 min. away from the train station and the city centre |

I was not informed about the castrophe in cork until the evening of my booking. If I had know about this I would have cancelled my room and not of gone to ireland. It was a waste of 2 days. We have flown fomr new zealand to the uk and decided to visit ireland. Of course I sympathyse with the people of cork county but had we of known about the flooding and bad weather to of left the hotel without water we would not of gone and I would of been happy to of for-fitted my £16 that I spend of a flight rather that my 180 (nealy) dollors that it cost for a hotel without water and bad weather. It ruined our trip and the room was not cheap due to the exchange. As I said, if I was informed of this before hand, we would not of taken the trip. I am very |

Friendly welcome. Friendly, courteous and efficient staff. Comfortable room and high standard of accommodation. Peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Perfectly-cooked breakfast provided. Had room with fabulous views of Cork city. Plenty of parking space and within walking distance of the city centre so unless you plan to do lots of shopping, leave the car behind. No. 8 bus from city centre (Patrick Street) will leave you close by if the hill is too steep to climb after a day's outing. Regret to mention one small drawback - storage in room was not great but if you are only staying for a few days then it's adequate. Small chest of drawers for storing underwear and folded items of clothing would have been welcome. |

Very comfortable, all the services of a big hotel but with the added advantage of being quiet and set a little away from the city centre. |

The staff were really friendly and the guest house was bright and very clean. The location is excellent as it is a very short walk to the city centre so no need for taxis. The ensuite was very impressive for a guest house. The bed lined while clean looked very cheap. There was also no wardrobe int he roob, just a rail to hang clothes on. For a small additional cost to the room these took away from giving a luxurious impression |

Staff are fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Very convenient location, only 15 minutes walk into the centre of town. We visited to attend the Jazz Festival and Valerie, Caitlin and the team went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back. |

The reception staff were of the highest caliber, always friendly, smiling and helpfull. We will definetly stay here again. The only drawback for us was no drink making facilities in our room, but that was only a small inconvience, compared with the friendliness of the place, nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel was perfectly located for easy access to the city centre and unlimited shopping, or the open countryside and the Mountains and Castles. As above only the lack of drink making facilaties in our rooms |

Fantastic service from the ladies on reception, lovely breakfast and variety of scones, soda bread, yoghurts, fruit, meat and full irish brekkie (yum!!) The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the city centre and up a hill.....not so fun after a days shopping or after a few too many Irish stouts! |

We were particularly impressed with the staff, every one was cheerful, friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfasts were good. We would have liked some drawers in our rooms and tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, but appreciate there might not have been the space. |

The location was really good( although there is an uphill walk which we did not mind ) very quiet area. The room was spacious with great views over the harbour and the city. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was freshly cooked. Just had a lovely stay. |
