The staff were extremely helpful, the breakfasts were great, room was small, but warm, clean and bed comfy. View from dinning room was the cream on the cake.
Nothing everything is perfect there.
My wife and I have been here before and its like visiting an old friend. Lovely room and bathroom with excellent view. Real close to town. Very nice staff and great breakfast. We'll be back!
The hotel was well located just 500m for town centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean and comfortable. Our room was very comfortable with big bed and nice modern bathroom. WiFi very good. Even good to see the chickens and ducks in the hotel garden supplying wonderful eggs for breakfast. By the way the breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Only thing missing is maybe a lift but that's all. Totally recommend a stay here. Wonderful
From the moment we arrived, we were made feel welcome. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, affordable and convenient.
If you have mobility issues, navigating the very steep car park and all the stairs would be too much.
Ease of access/met on arrival/detailed info on what would be available during our stay. Lovely breakfast options with good size portions. Excellent parking facilities within walking distance to Cork City would recommend & will stay again.
Our room No. 5 was opposite reception & we could here all conversations. However this would only have been a problem if staying more than 1 night.
Welcoming staff, a delicious breakfast, perfect location, well furnished rooms, and a strong wi-fi signal right into your room. Incredible value for money for this solo traveller.
I was hold up by work and phone the hotel to explain. I was given extra time. I feel so sorry for the lady who had to wait for me so late and would like to express my appreciation for the job she has done.
This guesthouse was very warm and friendly excellent value for money and in a prime location already planning my next trip to cork with Gabriel guesthouse in mind
great B&B place. best part of it was the breakfast!
Handy location 10 minutes from city or convenient bus ride. I'm not a big breakfast person but you get a fantastic choice of breakfast here!
The staff are very helpful could not ask for more made you feel like part of the family with good parking (very important in Cork see what I didn't like) I stayed longer than i booked it was that good and its only a quick taxi away from the town center as parking is a nightmare
Not that Gabriels can do anything about it The traffic in Cork with the one way system was put in place by a blind man or cyclist should have got a woman to sort it out it could be sorted with smart traffic lights to start with and make better parking for the city maybe down on the dorks were there seems to be not much going on in parts of it with maybe a free bus running the public up to the center of town every 5 to10 minutes this would stop a lot of cars just driving around fill the roads up looking for somewhere to park
The friendliness of staff and the comfort of the beds.
No bar facility It's up on a hill so if you stay for a couple of days you will definitely become fit Tne bathroom was not very comfort No lift available which in combination with the hill makes you even fitter
Cleanliness Location Rate Ample free car parking
Location great. Staff pleasant and friendly. Comfortable and clean bed. Slept well.
Not deserving of luxury description. IKEA fittings are fine but not luxurious! Bedside lockers were dusty. Tv remote was filthy. Tea, coffee, water, available two flights downstairs. Not good value for money.
The guest house is absolutely lovely ,excellent breakfast .rooms small but totally adequate .
The drive out of the car park!!
Everything was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent choice of food for breakfast, nicely served and the room was clean and comfortable with nice view of the garden. The bathroom was modern, liquid soaps available for use.
Perhaps there was not room but it would have been nice to have an armchair.
Very comfortable, nice staff and close to city centre
The breakfast was superb. Great choices
Ground floor room right opposite reception was too noisy.
+Common room open all day with tea +Backyard with Ducks, Chickens, and Turkey +Lovely staff +Beautiful rooms +Beautiful location
-Wifi connection only in common room
Close to city
Size of room
Everything perfect except internet. I spend three days and I had no internet for even 5 min.
The place has a nice location close to the city center and a convinient parking. The view depends on a type of room you request, so don't hesitate to ask for a garden view if you come to stay for a long time. The house itself is stylish and cosy, rooms are quite and breakfasts are substantional. I will definitely recommend to visit FOTA wildlife park which is ready to reach by a train nearby and have a lunch at Tara Tea room. The owners of a tea room are very friendly, interiour is charming and bagles and seafood chowder are the best that I've ever tasted! Besides you get a 10% discount as a guest of Gabriel Guesthouse
