The Staff. The receptionist Kathleen was very helpful. She did her best. In general i was not happy. The rooms were tiny. The bed creaked everytime i moved. Very uncomfortable. It was cold. I was given 1 pillow per person which was paper thin. I could everything that the people in the room beside were saying and doing. The rooms are to small and the walls were too thin. The facilites in the room were poor. |

We felt at home straight away thanks to the excellent friendly staff. Our room was extremely comfortable, furnished to a very high standard, had a beautiful king size bed and was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was very nice and tea, coffee, scones, cakes, fruit were available at all times to guests. We felt that the comfort of the guests was central to the hotel. We cannot fault the hotel for anything and found the previous bad reviews to be untrue by our experience. Big thumbs up! :) |

Really easy to get to the city centre, only about a five minute walk. Clean, warm hotel with friendly staff. Room was quite clean, though it could use a fresh coat of paint to cover up scuff marks. Great view. Note that gh is basically a b&b rather than a hotel proper. Floodlights are aimed at the building and are active until 12:30 am. When asked, staff informed us that this is a security requirement. |

Good location and very friendly staff. not good value for money - expensive for what it is. Basically a large B&B - 65euro is expensive. |

The staff at Gabriel House are very friendly and helpful with planning activities to do in Cork and the wider region. Breakfast was great too. The room cleanliness was poor as we had dirty marks all over our doona, and the proximity to the centre of Cork was not as we expected. The website listed it as a five minute walk, but it is approximately 15 minutes to where the centre of town is, and it is all uphill on the way back. The room was particularly small, and the soundproofing of the walls is not sufficient.Overall we were disappointed |

The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly, they tried to accomodate our every need. The personalised cooked breakfasts were also very good. The is free tea and coffee facilities available for when you return from your adventures. A very nice setting with great views. A calm atmosphere. unfortunately the bathroom was not clean on arrival and the shower remained to be heavily mouldy around the base and the shower temperature reached luke warm at best. The room was very bright due to outside lighting. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and room was tidied and towels changed every day. Good choice of breakfast on offer. Sink was small in the bathroom, which meant that splashed water everywhere. |

Situated in the heart of Cork City Centre, the hotel is just a short stroll from the city’s business district and many excellent shops, boutiques, theatres and galleries. |
