The Ard na gCeapairí Bistro and Carvery is the ideal spot for an informal breakfast, morning coffee with friends, stylish lunch or afternoon tea. At night, the bistro is transformed into an atmospheric dining experience with glowing candles, soft lighting and mouth watering choices to suit every taste. The Ard na gCeapairí Bistro is open 07:30 - 21:15 on weekdays and 07:30 - 21:30 on weekends.

Gallaghers is adaptable to host a variety of events such as conferences, weddings, product launches or exhibitions. Whatever your need, we can accommodate you with 5 superior suites, each equipped with the latest technology and conference aids.

Food & beverage

The Ard Na gCeapairi Bistro offers stylish yet relaxed surroundings, perfect for morning coffee, carvery lunch, afternoon tea or an evening dinner. The Executive Chef has selected a diverse range of sumptuous dishes in order to accommodate every palate.

You can relax and watch the world go by in the glass fronted Inis Meain Bar, offering panoramic views over Letterkenny, with bar food served from 15:30 - 21:00 daily. Enjoy the craic with the locals in McCarry's Bar which offers traditional music sessions midweek, plus music every weekend.

Area information

Glebe House & Gallery (8 km) - Regency House, 1828, set in woodland gardens, decorated with William Morris textiles, Islamic and Japanese art and more. The collection includes 300 works by leading 20th century artists Picasso and Kokoshka, as well as Irish and Italian artists.

Gartan Lake and Outdoor Centre (10 km) - Gartan Lough Outdoors, set within 87 acres on the shores of Gartan Lough in the very heart of Donegal, is superbly located for its many outdoor and adventure sport courses and holidays.

Grianan of Aileach (18 km) - The massive stone wall was probably built in the Christian era, but the bank and ditch surrounding the fort date to the early Iron Age.

Glenveagh National Park (24 km) - Some 16,540 hectares of mountains, lakes, glens and woods, with a herd of red deer. A Scottish style castle is surrounded by one of the finest gardens in Ireland. There is a Visitors Centre with displays explaining the park along with an audio-visual show.

I asked for a wake-up call at 9:00 a.m. but received one at 1:00 a.m. instead that woke me way before I needed to be up. I figured the desk clerk misunderstood me and called down again to request to be woken in the morning.

The large comfortable room and the staff at reception

having to take two elavators to get to level 3. Taking the first one to level 2 then walking down the hall to get the next one to level 3.

excellent location choice of bars and resturants . The hotel also had its own carpark

Hotel Staff and service was excellent. Good parking facilities.

Nothing in particular about this hotel but I travel abroard a lot and it still shocks me how expensive Hotels are in the the UK and ireland. £110 per night gets a 4/5 star hotel in a lot of countries.
