Score from 203 reviews Good
The room was dated which you would tolerate considering the rate we paid but the hygiene standards of the room were unacceptable. Bathroom and shower unclean with bad odour. Carpet filthy as was walls and ledges.
Great Location Very Friendly Staff Comfy Bed Free WiFi
Decor could do with a facelift
Location Cheap breakfast
Free parking is only between 6pm and 8am Wifi code for room is not written anywhere Room a bit pricey
Food was great staff very friendly location spot on
Food excellent location very central Stff very friendly
no plug for sink, room although clean, could be updated.
Staff were really friendly and helpful!
Wifi didn't work during the two days I stayed.
Staff very helpful. Location great.
The view was lovely and it was nice to have a small balcony to step out to.
In the bathroom, the light above the mirror was the only one that worked.
Location was good. Close to city centre.
The room was far below expectations. Very cramped and uncomfortable. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Would not return or recommend to friends. The only reason we didn't leave was we had nowhere else to stay as the city's accommodation was fully booked.
Over priced, No Wifi in room, Very noisey, Rooms are dated and bed clothes had holes in them.
Room on top floor attic, and a smell of sour milk on the stairs.
Staff were very good and the food was delicious
Rooms were a bit small and old
Great location - short walk to Galway City Center. 24 hour parking for just 4 Euros is located nearby at the Cathedral. Pay for entire next day after 6pm by using parking machine. Lot gets full in early AM but is virtually empty in the early evening.
Very dirty carpeting in room. WiFi ok in the bar downstairs but very unreliable in our room.
The staff were great with helpful suggestions and a lot of attention to detail
exactly what we wanted.good staff and a good pint in a great location.
Staff were excellent, would definitely stay there again
A bit tight in the rooms but the atmosphere more than made up for it.
View from rooms was good. Location good.
Between two lads we only got one set of keys. Not ideal. One is for room and one is for exterior door. We got separated and I'd no way of getting in. Stuck outside for hours before I eventually got a hold of him.
It's a b&b over a pub. It's not a hotel but charges like one
Brilliant stay, food great and Pj the host was amazing.
Nothing at all the whole stay was great.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty food
Location was great for walking the city, the bar/restaurant was nice
the rooms were not clean, the bathrooms not clean...there were items left there from previous travelers including used towels hung over the shower that hadn't been removed
Location is perfect.
B&B- it is not B&B- it is just rooms, expensive ones, considering that rooms look terrible,as well as en-suite.We booked a triple room with balcony, but we didn't get that room. The window was broke, couldnt close it, shower needs a good cleaning( if u go there, make sure u have your own shampoos as it's not provided there). You can make tea or coffee in the room, but before that- check 'best before' dates , as milk was gone off since 02.14 !!! overall, if it was 50 eur- would be ok, but not 120 !!! The pub is nice if u don't mind the ants, crawling everythere !
