Receptionist Clodagh who was most pleasant on our arrival, also arranging rooms for the three friends close together and with a seaviiew As the organiser of the trip I booked on the internet, when we arrived the two ladies I was with changed their double room for a room each and paid five euro less than I did. Its not an awful lot but it was just annoying. |

The fantastic views of Galway Bay. It was a good place to stay and explore the area. The barman in the Pub bar was friendly Nothing that we didn't like but the hotel staff were a bit more distant and formal than in all the other hotels we stayed in on the trip. I suppose preoccupied would be the word. |

it was close to beech and lovely view of galway bay and short distance into galway city. we had to request a change of room for our second night because of noise from a fan or air con unit. |

Friendly, busy atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Lovely varied breakfast in a nice room overlooking the sea. Loved the situation of the hotel right across the road from the seaside promenade. Found the entrance at the back of the hotel rather disconcerting and did not like the fact that cars were parked right outside bedroom window, no privacy when blinds were pulled up.Room was very warm during the night even without heat making sleeping difficult. |

The staff were unfailingly good-humoured and helpful. When I needed to get to my car in the basement car park late at night one of the staff by holding the door open in order to save me a long walk around to return. Much appreciated. |

Very relaxing place to stay. Close to all amenities including Galway City Centre. The friendly nature of staff and superb service, particularly in the dining room. The price of alcohol is a little steep, particularly given the strength of the Euro and the relative weakness of Sterling (I am from the UK). Mixers (Coke, Tonic etc.) extortionate. However this is the case in hotels worldwide - from Sydney to Seattle - I can assure you. However, it is something which I believe hotels could do something about. |

We were made to feel very welcome especially due to the fact the hotel was very busy due to the horse racing, the staff went out their way to make the stay very enjoyable |

We like the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel, staff were visible but not in your face, the food was lovely in quality and presentation. We had a room in the middle of a corridor and I felt the banging of doors early in the morning a little annoying. |

There is no way on earth that this hotel is 4 star, no way at all. Shabby rooms, sub-standard facilities and poor services. I've stayed in hotels all over Ireland in every city as this was by far the most disappointing place I've stayed in. Very bad value for money. |

We enjoyed the restaurant, the views, the location.. Breakfast on saturday: It was too bussy, we have to wait for a while to be seated and the quality wasn't as good as the day before. |

View on the bay. Comfort. Iron board facilities is not reflecting the type of services you would expect from a 4-star |
