Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the warm welcoming fires. Room size above average and very comfortable beds with underfloor heating in bathroom. Views spectacular even if its misty, We ate one of the nights in the restaurant and the standard of fare was very high. Would highly recommend Nothing to complain about

Location (on a secluded golf course). Being away phisically and mentally from everyday stress A proper SPA would make this resort a CAN NOT BE MISSED experience

Total relaxation in great surroundings. Rooms more than generous in size and quality. There are many areas within the hotel where you can sit and relax. All bedrooms seem to have wonderful views. We would have no hesitation in going back to this hotel.

I was at a wedding reception , . The food was excellent , the staff amazing and the bedroom comfortable and spacious . There was gret attention to detail right from the start . The breakfast , the next day , was served in a beautiful dining room and even late comers got the best of food and service . I would certainly recommend this hotel . The location alone is stunning .

our room was fantastic, overlooking the lake, it was fit for a family of 4 never mind a single room,which i had booked. we were there for a friends wedding and the food and service was one of the best ive ever stayed in. nothing i can say i didnt like.

The views from the hotel bar and ground are beautiful. You are overlooking a part of the river and Athlone Town in the distance. This is a Golf Hotel! The bar food was nice, but nothing special. The staff was a bit slow, not really friendly. You couldn't complaint about anything about the hotel or staff, but it wasn't anything special. On our way home we stopped at the Wineport Lodge for a coffee and soup at lunch. Even while that wasn't cheap the staff was really friendly.

The design and spaciousness of the whole building. Excellent bedrooms and public rooms. Efficient friendly staff. Excellent hotel - we don't play golf and chose the hotel for its location on for an overnight stay on our return home. It was a good find and looked a brilliant place for a golf holiday.

Waren schon zum dritten Mal dort, ist immer unsere 1. Wahl wenn wir in der Nähe von Athlone sind. Personal super freundlich, großes Zimmer mit Seeblick, obwohl "normales" Zimmer gebucht wurde

Hôtel qui tient ses promesses! Surclassement dans une suite à la fois classe, design et luxueuse.De vrais lits pour les enfants. Personnel attentif et accueillant. La vue sur le golf et le lac était magnifique. Bon petit-dejeuner! Le meilleur hôtel où nous ayons séjourné en Irlande.

Das Glasson Country House Hotel hat eine ausserordentlich schöne und ruhige Lage am Rande eines grossen Golfplatzes mit Ausblick auf den Shannon resp. den Lough Ree. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit direkter Sicht auf den See. Dieses sehr grosse und komfortable Zimmer war den Preis mehr als wert.

The staff were very friendly & they ensured I had a room that I could easy access when I told them I was pregnant. Breakfast was lovely & we slept soundly.

We were here for a wedding and it was beautiful. The setting was fabulous and the wedding reception room was beautifully decorated. The food was really tasty and will be back! Nothing, venue was perfect

Absolutely everything ! Hotel met all expectations as did the staff so friendly & helpful. Rooms very comfortable. Food beautiful. Super golf course! Well worth a visit.
