We stayed in the annex. The beds were the most comfortable beds we experienced in a B&B in Ireland. The large, in-room flatscreen TV was a nice surprise. The receptionist gave us a very warm welcome. The owner also introduced himself and offered to help us with a geneological search. |

Hotel was very dated - Needs new furniture and fixtures. Photos on the website look too new and bright - Hotel was not new or bright! We had to change rooms because the shower did not drain and could not be fixed. |

Staff went out of their way to accommodate guests - nothing seemed to much trouble (unlike many hotels where you can be made to feel that they're doing you a favour by letting you stay). Food excellent - locally-sourced, reasonably priced and cooked to perfection; I would recommend the restaurant to anyone in the area, whether guests or not. |

The cooked breakfast was excellent. Dining Room service first rate. Location excellent. The poor service at reception on arrival and departure and only one blanket on bed. (No spare.) |
