Gleesons Townhouse & Restaurant  

Many people offer surperlatives and hyperbolies which are innacurate. So it would not be in any way an exaggeration to speak of Gleesions in the highest form of praise. The atmosphere, the staff, the culinary delights and accommodations deserve the highest recognization and praise. I have contacted Foder's Guide to Ireland and requested that Gleesions be include in their next edition.

Lovely place with a warm atmosphere and friendly hosts. Fantastic location right on the town square. Would definitely stay there again.

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the owners were particularly nice and welcoming. The location is very central and the food in their restaurant was excellent. We stayed in one of their suites and this was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. Great value for money. Without a doubt we will be back.

The location was excellent, with safe car-parking. The complimentary tea and scones on arrival is a nice touch and were a welcome treat after our journey. The staff were lovely, very friendly. And dinner in the restaurant was beautiful - though I could only manage one course. Oh, and the homemade bread is delicious!

Attractive appearance. Central to town and some good local attractions. Pleasant surroundings. Friendly and hospitable staff. Good food. Cosy. Has accomodation, coffee shop, restaurant, function room.

My mum and myself stayed two nights in gleesons last week to relax after a stressful time we had a wonderful time as the staff were very nice and the room we were in was beautiful there was tea/coffee available in your room comfortable beds and a bath I had a relaxing bubble bath and felt all the stress melt away there is a car park at the back and a lovely court yard at the front, the house is a old style vintage type which has loads of charm and is very special and unique they bake and cook wonderful meals and bread with loads of choice,the town itself is small and has a lot of shops you seldom see where there is a mixture of goods in the one shop, near by there is a wonderful park were you can walk or in fine weather you could have a picnic, we would love to go again and we felt we were new people when we came home after our stay thanks to all in gleesons.

Very relaxing , very pleasant helpful staff and owner, excellent food and drinks and good location in town centre will stay again on next visit to Ireland

We were given extra help in planning our driving routes to area attractions, including directions to the airport when we were ready to leave. The whole atmosphere of the townhouse was warm and cozy.

Food was good but expensive. The stairway, although beautiful, was challenging with heavy suitcases. 9The reception attendant carried my parents luggage for them.)
