Gleesons Townhouse & Restaurant  

The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The location cannot be beaten.

Although the cooked breakfast was excellent, as a locale priding itself on organic produce, they could source better cereal, particularly muesli.

Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent position of the Hotel right in the town center. No problem with parking and a very pleasant atmosphere. Good restaurant and reasonably priced. To recommend absolutely!

The staff and family running the facility are very welcoming. The townhouse is beautiful and very clean. Our rooms were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was really nice - delightful fresh baked scones were the highlight for us. Nice location - easy walking to castle and fun pubs, restaurant and shops. We had dinner at Gleesons one night and it was very, very good. Great staff and a wonderful family.

There was nothing I didn't like.

This was our second visit to Gleesons. We went back because we had liked it so much the first visit. On our 2 visits we have had the front rooms overlooking the square which are big comfortable/luxury rooms although I would feel all their rooms are comfortable. Food is superb, and their home made bread is the best I have ever eaten. Being on the square shopping is within walking distance and your car can sit in the car park unless you want to venture further afield.

Only fault we had was the bed wasn't the most comfortable, everytime we moved the bed would move away from the wall.

Gleesons is excellent value for money. It's family run and they use local produce which is 2nd to none. The rooms are unique and there is free wifi too. Highly recommended we will be back again.

I came with my friend to meet my Irish family for the 1st time and discover my heritage just outside of Roscommon township. We found the hospitality and friendliness, the helpfulness and care just amazing! The rooms, food, staff and location were wonderful for our short 2 day trip! Thank you to all concerned! We will certainly return!

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the owners were particularly nice and welcoming. The location is very central and the food in their restaurant was excellent. We stayed in one of their suites and this was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. Great value for money. Without a doubt we will be back.
