Score from 1778 reviews Very good
Less than a 15-minute walk from central Galway, the modern 4-star Pillo Hotel is located at Headford Point. It has air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, a spa and a fine restaurant.
Score from 1224 reviews Very good
Right within the center of Galway, the Eyre Square Hotel features brightly furnished rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1056 reviews Very good
The hotel is ideally located between the busy center of Galway and the relaxed seaside resort town of Salthill.
Score from 651 reviews Very good
Accessible by public transit. Nice walk to Salthill.
We appreciated the off season value price, but didn't expect to be so far out of town in a newer estate area that had little by way of charm.
Decor very outdated. Rooom felt cold on entry and bed was very small for a double and uncomfortable. hower could do with a better cleaning .

Night porter was very rude nd abrupt!!!
Nice staff, clean rooms and quiet.
Excellent value for the money clean warm and cosy
Staff always friendly very helpful i always enjoy staying there
Breakfast in the bar was a lovely surprise, freshly cooked and tasty.
Smell of smoke in the bedroom and the corridors. The only mirror in the bedroom was at the end of one of the bed at hip height?
THE STAFF ARE VERY NICE. Warm hotel too.
I can honestly say that there was nothing to like about this shamble of a so called hotel
The rooms were tacky and dirty..the windows were broken and draughty...the furnishings were cheap and dirty..the radiator was broken..the curtains were falling of the rails...the food was cold..the staff were anything but friendly...Im sorry we stayed there...never ever again
Leaving the hotel. The bed was comfy.
WiFi not good, room not clean, bits of food on floor, old clumps of dust everywhere, stains on all carpets, bathroom grubby. Overall the worst hotel I've stayed in by far. Bemused by the 3 star rating. I saw the bad comments and some good ones, so thought I'd check it out myself. Next time I'll go by the comments. Plenty of great hotels in Galway, I booked last minute so had little choice.
Location great. Would love to own that spot...
Bed not comfy. Coffee cups in room horrible. Grubby interior though bar great. Hopefully they'll light a fire and get some comfy sofas in sitting area.
Price was amazing for a double room. Bed was very comfortable. Bar was very friendly and welcoming.
Location a little bit out of the way, but for the price it was not an issue.
room very spacious as well as en suite
room was freezing radiators were not turned on had to do that ourselves
handy for the bus to the city
room had not been cleaned , duvet was only pulled up on bed from previous people , bathroom not cleaned , went down to reception , and was not impressed but she say sit in bar and will go up and clean . she changed the bed only , next day staff only made the bed , a hoover was not used anywhere in hotel , stench from the mens toilets in bar took breath away
It was filthy and disgusting. I would never, ever stay there again and if I was you i would take it of your website. It was so bad I could not stay there a second night.
Good value for money.
No hand towels in the room. No room service.
Price and location to city.
shower was of poor quality.
The welcome was great. The room was very comfortable.
There was a smell of cigarette in the corridor outside our room and there was traces of cigarette smell in our bathroom.
I like the price. My GF and I were only staying 1 night for graduation in NUIG so the price and location to the college was spot on and the city centre was only a 5 minute drive! Everything else, food included, was mediocre.
I know it's winter and all but the heat was unbearable. We had to sleep without the duvet it was that bad, even with the windows open. Wi-fi was non existent, despite the advertisement for wi-fi. TV, much like the hotel lift, could use a little upgrade.
The price was excellent, the accomidatin was very warm, the location was close to NUIG and Eyre Square
There was some damp noticed above the window, there was a stain on one of the bedroom carpets, there was only a tv in the room with the double bed!
Prices are fair Food is nice Waitress was very pleasant and accomadating
The location, what you spend on taxis you would be better off paying extra to stay in a more central hotel. Rooms need a deep clean and revamp, there is a strong stale smell. Don't know what was happening with reception, sometimes there was someone there and other times there wasn't but didn't find them very friendly on desk. Came back to hotel one of the nights with a friend for a drink and the porter was very rude. Friend tried to book a room and was told he wasn't allowed.
friendly staff,very clean,great atmosphere
Food Very good.
Basic but cheap, does the trick if goin out in galway for the night!! Nice staff!! Room was clean as whistle!
