Room was nice and clean. Good value for money.

Breakfast was expensive and cold.

Great spot , taxi is only tenner into city centre ( always someone heading in ,,, asked for a shared trip , you'd be suprised how many will agree to split the fare ) , food was brill and worth the money , rooms clean and simply decorated , Quiet and nice location, loads off parking , We will be back :D

As any Galway hotel, good central location to cover different regional sites (counties of Clare & Connemara), provided you are not a back-packer depending on public transport. Very cheap rate: make sure you ask for it beforehand.

Only book if you can afford your own wheels: out of city core and (eating) facilities. We felt sorry for the 1-manned staff taking care altogether of the hotel reception & rooms AND at the same time pub & restaurant.

Room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff were nice and tried to help with directions and such.

The lock was a little confusing, but not really a problem. The commode had an issue flushing properly. We thought there was a leak initially, but it was just extremely slow in refilling.

Great facilities for the price. We enjoyed our stay there thoroughly. The room even had a sort of kitchenette/bar (no fridge), which was a nice addition.

The Bar and restaurant staff were amazing to deal with and the food was fantastic.

The rooms are tiny and dirty.The receptionist was the rudest person I ever met.

From the moment we checked in the guy at reception couldn't of been more helpful. He was friendly and very welcoming. Gave us directions to places we hoped to visit.

My only complaint and I don't even want to cal it that is the room was very very warm.

The restaurant is very good with a great breakfast (not included) and the staff was amazing. The bedroom is very nice and the bathroom as well. Very good clean.Very comfortable.

Hotel was great. Was down for a stag, we had over booked by 1 room and they didnt charge us, also came back to hotel about 3 am, and they opened the bar back up for us. Staff excellent and very friendly.

Staff were excellent - couldn't fault any of them - we needed assistance moving our luggage when leaving, they couldn't have been more helpful - also very friendly towards our 9 month old daughter - Staff are worth an extra star alone for this hotel. Food was good and in line with expectations for a 3 star hotel. Daily specials interesting and good value for money. WiFi was patchy to begin with but once connected was excellent. Shopping centre close by also handy.

Location in so far as we arrived the first day of the bus strike which limited options for any travellers without a car.

Great value for money. All you need for your stay in Salthill.

The staff were very nice, and very very friendly from reception to household and bar staff to night staff, the took very good care of me a must for anyone looking to get away. Did not stay for breakfast as I got a feed late and headed away very early. I will most definitely be staying again in the year.

Just someone walking around the 1st floor and been very chatty with his girlfriend at 2-3am outside my door but, it is a hotel and people will be coming back from a night out, lol

Location, too far from downtown and amenities. Pillows were very flat and uncomfortable.

i had small baby in buggy and i know there was a lift but would have prefered a ground floor room. and i was told had own private entrance to room when booked.

The cost for a double room is very reasonable

The room we stayed in was very small, It is advertised 20 sq metres this bedroom was half that, there was only room for one bedside cabinet, it said seating area one chair (bed), Very dated, It was very noisy we were next to the lift ,

They gave me a room at the back of the hotel when I emailed to ask for it. The barman was very friendly and apologetic about the fact that the internal walls are made of paper when I was checking out on Saturday night.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in a lot of countries in the world and this is the first one I have ever left in the middle of the night to check in somewhere else. A lot of people said the price was a bargain but I paid €138 for two full nights even though I left the second night. I could have had a proper hotel for less, in fact the previous weekend I stayed in a beautiful hotel in Sligo with a pool and everything for only €100 so this hotel was a complete rip off. If you're paying them €25 a night you're probably getting value for money. tl:dr I liked nothing. I stayed the night Friday and checked out Saturday around midnight so most of this will refer to Friday night. The room was so hot I drank two liters of water during the night and still woke up groggy and dehydrated. I had the window open all night but it made no difference. The barman explained to me on Saturday night when I was checking out that the hot water pipes for that floor run under the bedrooms at the back of the hotel. The guests in the room next to ours came back at 2 in the morning and I thought they had come into our room, I actually got out of bed to check they weren't in our bathroom! I could even see light over in the corner of the room that turned out to be coming under the 1cm gap at the bottom of the connecting door. We did have HiFi sound of them having sex though, maybe I should put that in the positives side... depends what you're into. The shower was impossible to set to a comfortable temperature and the fittings were cheap plastic and falling off. I was genuinely hoping it wasn't a power shower or electrical in any way. The internal walls are so thin I am surprised I couldn't actually see through them, I could make out what people were saying in the next room and they weren't shouting (this was the people on the other side, not the people having sex, they were too busy for talking).
