Dissapointed with my room on the 5th floor - could hear noise such as showers, toilets, talk etc. carpets on 5th floor need to be cleaned.

The proximity to Killarney town centre and the shuttle bus service.

Having stayed in quite a number of hotels I found The Glenegle to be distinctly average. The member of staff checking us in on our arrival was not very friendly, I think he may have only spoken to me once during the check-in process. The room was adequate, but by no means particularly luxurious. The TV reception was also awful. Given the wealth of hotels in the Killarney area I feel that The Gleneagle needs to make significant improvements.

the staff were very helpful and i had a problem with the kettle in my room it was all white like limescale and they changed it straight away food and night entertainment excellent

The Gleneagle was lovely. Lovely bathroom and the swimming pool was amazing.

Unfortunatly the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the window was very hard to open and close but other than that we has a lovely stay

It was beside the NEC and I was attending there so it was very convenient. The food in the Back Stage Bar was excellent, it rare to get such good food in such a large hotel as it was extremely busy the day I was there because of the concert next door

Thought it very strange that when you went into the leisure dept for a swim there were no lockers of any sort to put your belongings into while you were swimming, all other places I have visited have a lock up facility and they was no shampoo or shower gel in the pool showers either.

the location is excellent with great views of the mountains.The staff are friendly and very welcoming.The night entertainment was great with a mixture of all ages.Looking forward to going back next year,

The staff were very friendly and efficient, there was a great choice of places to eat within the hotel. The atmosphere was great. The room rate was quite reasonable and the availability of free parking was very convenient.

The hotel could be fantastic with some updating of the decor - whilst clean, there was a sense of everything being over-used.

I love staying in the gleneagle because there is something to do all weekend if thats what you want or go for nice walks around the lakes

I really like staying at the Gleneagle my first time was for my honeymoon in 1979 . this weekend the Flesk restaurant was closed so we came down for dinner at 8 10 to be told dinner was finished at eight which was not written on the board.I was disappointed so the receptionist recommended next door where we did have a lovely dinner. We stayed for concert. Our room was lovely. This is a big bustling hotel with real buzz. There were people of all ages young families, mature like us and all seemed to be having a ball! Hotel catrs for all ages and there was lots to do. Would recommend it.

Good value for money , great all round entertainment , good location & good food !
