shower was excellent, floor heating in the bathroom, very comfortable bedding, parking is excellent

restaurant menu didn't specify that fish was deep-fried - which spoils the freshness of the wild Atlantic fish, so ask the waiter to be sure what you'll get

Friendly staff .A good central location to town

No Internet connection as I had to drive a distance to get a signal .Some guests made a lot of noise especially the one next door one night .Breakfast was slow being served .

The hotel was excellent in all departments. Breakfast was extra so we walked to Jim's coffee house at the edge of the village - recommended. Parking was good.

-great location -big and comfortable bed -very nice and clean room -very tasty food in restaurant

-just one thing... watch when you pay in restaurant, cause the waiter/barman cheated on us when we paid for the dinner. He added one more pint and one more glass of vine extra. And it wasn't only us, because the couple next to us had the same issue.

Excellent location in centre of village. Spacious room and bath room. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy parking.

Sadly, the menu in the restaurant and adjoining bistro and pub did not inspire. . Tourist info office was right across street, but this was not open at end of June (apparently opened mid-July) and surprisingly, Hotel did not have a great deal of information. Would have expected there to be leaflets available.

Location is very good with easy access to the surrounding areas.

On Saturdays and Sundays breakfast is only served from 09.00a.m.which is inconvenient for early starters. During the week it is available from 08.00a.m. which is also a bit late. The bays around Glengarriff produce thousands of tons of mussels, which are on the restaurant menu - but were never available there during our stay. Other locations nearby had them. There are no good restaurant facilities in or around Glengarriff for evening meals - nearest are in Kenmare (about 23 Kms. away) over a difficult mountain route.
