Breakfast, while sounding very appetising was actually quite stodgy. No quality cereals or fresh juices etc and fry was very dry and meats were poor standard. We had attended wedding previous evening and food at that was very poor and would have been refused if had option. |

The hotel management recognised the shortcomings about the hotel that I had brought to their attention and did not charge me for the dinner in the restaurant The quality of the room was not good and the bathroom in particular was very poor with broken and stained fittings. Dinner in the Pullman restaurant was also disappointing |

Glenlo Abbey is top class in so many ways with the quality of the staff its best asset. The decor is so impressive too and the quality of the food couldn't be faulted. |

General atmosphere of the old building, golf court / garden and lake, Pullman restaurant in waggons of the Oriental express, breakfast Lack of service (no concierge, no luggage carrier), rooms a bit antiquated with old bathroom facilities, Pullman restaurant is an experience but absolutely overpriced for the quality of the food |
