Glenlo Abbey Hotel

The location near Galway is excellent and the Pullman restaurant is an outstanding experience. The food very good but the ambience in the 1927 "Leona Car" from the Orient Express train was outstanding.Ask for seats on the golf course side.

When we were here in 2002, the rooms and small bathrooms, were fair but needed renovation. The was no redecorating and the rooms are now shabby, the refrigerator did not work, the room was uncomforably hot and could have been cleaner.. Not recommended at these prices..

lovely staff, very comfortable, relaxed

Service and food were superb, really enjoyed the dining experience on the "orient express". Very friendly staff. Found our trip expensive, given the hotel was far from full occupancy room rates could have been more competitive.

Important to have a car.

I greatly enjoyed my short stay in Glenlo Abbey Hotel. I have been there before & will definitely return.

The staff,confort,and good base to see the west

the breakfast, the main grill was fine but the buffet lwas very tired looking and uninviting
