It is located near the airport. For us the location was good, because we came in the middle of the night and need a room for morning start up. Good breakfast.

Good location for airport, free parking only reason I stay The place could do with a makeover-even a bit of paint and thorough cleaning of bathroom would make a difference.

The receptionist was very helpful and informative. The house was quiet and conducive to a good nights sleep before a long-haul flight. Temperature in the bedroom was very cold and there was no way of controlling it. The en-suite bathroom was warmer than the bedroom.

Glenmore House hotel is situated 30 minutes by foot from the Dublin Airport (dub), and there is supposedly a shuttle bus every 30 minutes, which costs 2 eur, and takes 5 min to arrive at the airport. There was no problem with late arrival, and early departure. Breakfast is included now in the price, and the breakfast area is available at all hours (though without staff) so you can prepare breakfast yourself even if you have a flight early in the morning (like 6:00). The hotel is much cheaper than hotels at the airport. The reception staff was not able to provide me with a proper invoice (for reimbursement). The bathroom was not very clean, with black mold growing on ceiling near the ventilation fan. At the airport there is almost no information about shuttle bus to Glenmore House - there need to be more information about it provided by hotel in its booking.com info (I got a taxi). The shuttle bus doesn't stop by the hotel (even though there is "bus stop" sign there) but I think only at bus stop by the road (I got by foot) - maybe something changed, maybe bus was missing, but I didn't get this information at reception desk.

I was so impressed with the Glenmore House that I made notes while on the airplane so I could properly review it when the invitation arrived. The Glenmore House is absolutely lovely, and the best hotel experience I had during a year in Europe, the UK, and Ireland. The entire facility was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, with fresh-smelling sheets. Bathroom towels were also very fresh, thick, and lush -- and patterned (rather than white), which was a nice change. Room #9, at the end of the hall, was quiet and featured a nice large window. I appreciated that the window could be opened, allowing for fresh spring air. (The bathroom window also opened, which I also appreciated.) There are nice common areas for guests to gather and use the free wifi. Complimentary coffee and tea were available there, as well as a water cooler. The Continental breakfast was very nice, with basic selections but a wide variety of cereals, breads, fruits, yogurt, juices, cheese and meat, as well as coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The woman who was working at the desk when I checked in went out of her way to get a ground floor room for me (I had a lot of heavy luggage) without me even having to ask. The city bus stop is a short walk from the Glenmore House, and there is a shuttle to the airport (€2 per adult passenger) that meets in front of the lodge (at a stop that is at the end of the driveway). I would recommend the Glenmore House to any budget-conscious traveler, especially if you want to be very near the airport. It was just a wonderful experience for me. Litter outside the window (room #9) should be removed to make the view more pleasant. Mounting the television is that it is more visible from both sides of the bed would be an improvement.

The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful.Room was more than adequate. It was a bit remote for finding somewhere to eat but the pub I eventually found was excellent. I was told a number of buses to the city would be arriving every half an hour. I waited 45 minutes in the rain before one arrived. The 11.40am did not materialise and I was at the stop just before 11.30am.

Location to airport Staff as rude as . greeting on arrival non existant. Dirty bathroom, broken shower , no soap, more cobwebs then the adams family house , especially over the breakfast food area. Cont breakfast a joke, bread best before date says 2nd feb this was on the 5th, hence the mold on it!! Staff changing the dirty bedding and bringing it in her arms through the dining room while your having your moldy toast.. A nice touch I thought. Not a sight or sound of any irish staff, just the usual rude east block staff. Wouldnt stay there again if it was free !!!!
