The quality of the breakfast and excellent service - and the linen tablecloth and napkins.
The bedroom I was in would benefit from less old-fashioned and ornate furnishings - and double glazing.
comfortable bed great night sleep great location walking distance to Aviva and rds tea/coffee in bedroom excellent breakfast
Location Breakfast Welcome Decor (old world charming) Staff/owners Comfort
WiFi rather hit and miss
It was a great to be close to RDS
Just about everything. We were there for a rugby weekend and it was perfect for getting to the Aviva and for walking into the city. Good pubs close by too. Breakfast was very good. It's the second time I've stayed here and would happily do so again.
It was a double bed and a single, rather than three singles, which we would have preferred.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
Location, staff friendliness and comfort
Wifi works but could be better!
- Room size and amenities are reasonable. - Staff at breakfast were prompt and friendly. - Area feels safe, though not the most convenient for tourist attractions (we had to take expensive cabs to get anywhere).
- Decor is very tired, not well-maintained. Not very clean. - Bathroom is HORRIBLE--bad water pressure, separate hot and cold taps (you end up freezing or burning your hands) that are old and hard to turn, no ventilation (had to open the sash window), bath drain was COMPLETELY clogged (I had to clear it myself, GROSS).
Good size room
Room above too much noise
Staff, friendly, breakfast...yum!
Pillows are the worst!!!
I met Peter on checking in and he was very helpful. I was able to leave my luggage as my room was ready before time. All waiting staff were lovely. As I was attending an event at the RDS, the location was fantastic. I would definitely stay again
The WIFI was poor.
The welcome, the room and bathroom.
We got in to dublin on the first flight from Edinburgh & the time of check in was not till 14:30 but we went to the B&b anyway to see if they could take our bags in for us & we would go back later for check in but the guy peter was very nice n helpful he let us have our room's early which was great the buses in n out of Dublin town centre are really good lots of them & it's only about 10-15 min to get in from the b&b the glenogra has a lot of caricature which was nice the breakfast was fantastic wide selection we will 100% be back we loved it the staff were excellent :)
Great breakfast & free parking. Room was very comfortable.
location and warmth of house.
room was a wee bit on the small side.
The staff are wonderful here. Joe was extremely helpful to us; he even lent us 35 Euros our first morning because the currency exchange at the airport was closed when we arrived the night before. He also gave us great recommendations on things to see and places to visit. Our room and bed were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good and hearty. Would definitely stay again.
One other guest parking their vehicle incorrectly prevented us from parking in an available spot one evening. We had to park on the street and feed the meter. However, this is no reflection on Glenogra Townhouse. There is additional secured parking available behind the hotel, which we used later. We just happened to return from a trip to the North after hours.
Helpful staff, great location, quiet atmosphere. Clean rooms and fair sized private bathroom.
Breakfast was terrible. Did not care for the inconvenience of having to request the "timer" be turned on for the room heating.
The plce is great. Stuff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is delicious
The room was beautiful, the staff was very helpful, and the location was ideal. Not in the middle of everything, but an easy walk or quick cab to city center. Perfect for us.
Comfortable Room, Great Breakfast Professional and Friendly Staf
Having to get down on all fours to connect kettle for tea/coffee. Unclean shower. Mildew. health worry? Cold tap wouldn't turn off.
The breakfast was delicious and the people were excellent. Dublin, as any city, is a bit pricey to stay in the center of town so why not stay near a rail station? DART EXTREMELY close and quick ride into town.
The location was perfect for our business. Peter, the host was most helpful. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great vaue for the area. Also the breakfast was really good.
I recently spent four nights as this lovely small hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin, Ireland, and have only praise for the etsablishment. The rooms are a good size, clean, with good quality wifi. There is parking space on the premises. The hotel is a B&B, the breakfast was delicious and included eggs cooked as per your request with smoked salmon or sausages. The management are extremely friendly and will assist you with every request. The hotel is located approximately 30 minutes by foot from the city centre, and public transportation is very close. For those rainy days, the rooms offer a tv with literally hundreds of stations. All in all a most pleasurable experience.
Not in city center, if that matters to you, but near buslines
