Eileen and family were always extremely pleasant and helpful with suggestions for our holiday. Altogether a "5 star" welcome. A visit for an evening meal at nearby Seanchai Bar is a"must".
Tom and Eileen are delightful. Very helpful and knowledgable. From the welcome cup of tea and the yummy breakfast to the extras offered. Couldn't fault.
That we didn't stay longer
Locally sourced food Hospitality and friendliness going the extra mile Home was absolutely beautiful
The lodge is set in a secluded (although excellently signposted from the road) position with stunning views across the bay. Eileen is charming and helpful and produces the most fantastic breakfast packed full of local produce. If you get the chance go and meet her as she has lots of local knowledge and entertaining stories.
loved the tranquility, the scenery, the comfort, the decor and the breakfast. Eileen and her husband TJ were very friendly and accommodating. will definitely be going back.
Everything! Food Location Rooms Made to feel very welcome
Eileen, the owner. Great view. Fantastic breakfast. Comfy bed.
Everything was perfect. Very lovely and friendly owner and a very lovely home.
Eileen is the perfect host. Breakfast was great. She was very helpful and gave us great tips on what to do and where to dine. Even gave us a lift into town and she gave us plants from her garden!
Eileen was really nice to us. We had big choice for breakfast, lot of organic food and home made bread. Our dog was fully accepted and could even stay alone in the room when we were having breakfast or went to the town for a short while (not all B&B allow that). Eileen also fully supported us when we had to see a doctor due to eye infection. It felt like home. There are beautiful views from the house, big garden, a horse... but to get to the beach you will need to drive for a short while. Very good area for cyclying as well.
Eileen, her food, her home and her pleasantness. Also loved the food in nearby Seanachai Bar.
Loved everything, even the weather was good!
What a beautiful place in a beautiful setting, with breath taking views Eileen was very helpfull with her knowledge of the area of places to go, places to see and places to eat When we go back to Southern Ireland we will certainly go back to Gortnadiha
We didn't have any negative views of Gortnadiha
Eileen's been a wonderfull host and her breakfast is just outstanding. Unbelievable variety and lots of it homemade!
We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay! We'll come back!
there was nothing to complain about
This is a gorgeous, secluded property with stunning views. The Irish breakfast is absolutely amazing, with homemade jams, scones, and even cheese. The hosts are welcoming and helpful.
The room was lovely. I sat at the window looking at the view for ages. Landlady was warm and friendly
? I can't think of anything.
Location, the views were fabulous The garden, lovely deck area to sit in the evening and enjoy the views. We had dogs with us as we are at a dog show, and the dogs had the freedom to run round in safety. Breakfast was lovely, all you could eat and more A lovely place to relax and unwind.
Welcoming, comfortable and the best of breakfasts ! The location is so peaceful with wonderful views towards the sea and a great getaway. Eileen and her husband were so welcoming and helpful, giving us some hints as to where to visit and we had a fabulous walk at Ardmore followed by Cobh for the Titanic experience. The accommodation is chic traditional and envelopes you in cosiness.. if you want sleek modern and impersonal don't go. The breakfast was one of the best i have ever had, with fresh scones to top it all. Our friends were visiting from Australia and us from England and all i can say is thank you for a wonderful welcome to Ireland.
Eileen did a great job......great breakfast!!! Great location!!
All was good..........
Great place, delicious homemade food, especially fantastic freshly made scones. We were made to feel very welcome, we were sorry to leave but we will definitely come back.
Excellent breakfast freshly cooked every morning with locally sourced produce. Hostess provided freshly baked bread or scones every day. Rooms are spacious. Great location for walking.
