Waterville is a pretty little village in kerry dark sky reserve and close to kerry cliffs. Friendly people but not a lot to do. Excellent guinness beef stew at Dooley's. Would not recommend Darc apartments. - 3rd bedroom was like a closet and very uncomfortable cot to sleep on. 2 bathrooms- one toilet was out of order and no water pressure in either shower. Could have been cleaner - used bars of soap in bathrooms..Tv not hooked up and other than helping us find the unit , which was poorly marked- owner of unit did not respond to inquiries from us regarding plumbing, tv etc. Location was convenient

I thought people in Waterville very friendly and helpful. The promenade is a lovely opportunity for a walk along the sea! Interesting to read about Mick O'Dwyer and Charley Chaplin linked to this small seaside town! The scenery around Waterville is spectacular.

More lively than we thought it would be in the dead of winter. It's a nice clean, well-kept town in an outstanding location by the sea. The mountains are right beside you. Plenty of places to explore.
The room was perfect, immaculate and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Location is great, Waterville has plenty of nice bars and restaurants, and it's a short drive south to beautiful Caherdaniel/Derrynane beach or North to Valentia Island/ Skellig ring/ Cahershiveen or Kells. Great value for money. Fishing is good on the lake. Even with little experience on a hot day, I caught a fish within 20 minutes of casting.
Had a remote country feel, plenty of room for a family or a few couples. The mountain drive through the middle of The Ring of Kerry was gorgeous. We got takeout in the town (everything closes early off season so make sure you go before 4pm) Host left plenty of wood for a fire in the wood stove, but no matches, so if its winter make sure to bring some as the night was stormy and it was chilly. Great house would stay again.
Comfortable and spacious cottage has everything you need for a longer self-catering stay. There are stunning views up and down the valley. Excellent location for exploring the peninsula: Skelligs ring, Valencia island, Cahersiveen, Glencar and Derrynane are nearby. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic, accessible location just outside the main part of Waterville. Mary the proprietor couldn’t have been sweeter or more helpful with making dinner recommendations and securing us a reservation. The breakfast menu offered many delicious options (including full Irish, salmon and eggs, and pancakes).
Excellent property, wonderfully updated. Fantastic beds and Showers. Great breakfast!! Perfect location on the water. We were so pleased that we extended our stay a day. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed while hiking the Kerry way. We highly recommend it!
The accommodation was immaculate, the staff extremely friendly, the breakfast delicious and the decor and furnishing high quality. The view from the sea view room is incredible. Highly recommend for anyone to visit Waterville and stay here.
The location of this property is just outstanding.. we went for a family wedding and the church was just up the road and the hotel reception close too. Perfect facilitates. Spacious with fab views
We were met at the door! Our room was excellent, complete with coffee service, comfortable beds, and a large bathroom. A great place to stop over as you make your way around the Ring of Kerry.
Great location, wonderful view of the beach and coastline. Very nice staff in the hotel and the attached pub. The breakfasts were wonderful and the wait staff attentive.
