Great location, clean and tidy hotel with friendly staff. Would definately recommend
Some noise from the close-by bars which the windows didn't block out, but this didn't affect me much so wouldn't put me off returning.
Very central location, clean and friendly.
Minor issue of checking in and out from a different building and breakfast in a 3rd but not really problem as they are all within a few meters of each other.
It may be because they are currently renovating but the rooms didn't have curtains. The bedroom had a pink/peach blind that simply illuminated the entire room. So apart from waking early, no real complaints
breakfast! It was yum, everyone was super helpful. Excellent location
small cosmetic issues: the wall paper was a slightly torn and the lamp base was cracked and the bulb was blown.
Love the location. Very friendly staff
the coffee is not great but the pot of tea does the job
I liked location - I liked the breakfast....
Room too warm - unable to turn off radiator. TV not working - nice room but needs a bit of TLC...
Centrally located easy to get to everywhere
Shower leaked into hallway, paint chipping on walls, annex had no heating
Location and comfortable room. Breakfast available in a nearby cafe.
Would have liked breakfast to be available later than 10:30am on Sunday.
The people were lovely. Place clean, small but VERY quaint with everything you need. The bus from the airport (16) stops literally at the front door, or the express bus (747) just around the corner. Absolutely brilliant location. Couldn't have had a more pleasant stay, and would always be happy to go back.
You have to check in somewhere a few doors down, climb 1 and 1/2 flights of stairs with your luggage, then with the luggage back down the stairs and then up the stairs again to your room. Annoying, but would not deter me from going back.
The location is excellent. It is noisy , but it is an old building (i.e. old single pane windows)in the city centre. It's close to the main shopping area and pubic transport. The reception, house cleaning and breakfast staff are very friendly. The bathroom although tired and needing an upgrade was spotless.
The building needs a lot of TLC. The lighting the bedroom was very dull - I coudn't see into the wardrobe. There was still (clean) rubbish from previous occupants in the desk drawer. There is only one key per bedroom. These are not complaints, but just a highlighting the obvious.
it was a very cosy place...i asked for a quiet room and i got it
wanted e room with a view but did not get it,,but i understand this because that would mean front of house and that would be noisy.....can you fix the catch on window!!!!!
Noise - literally couldn't sleep till 4am when the streets cleared Basis student like accomodation with a lot of stairs to climb if your on the top floor as we were.
The central location. the buffet breafast. Overall it did the trick,
Was on top floor -no elevators- Room was TINY - mind your head tiny. You wont want to stay in it for long. With just a bit of imaginaion they could make the room more relaxing amd comfortable.
Location was brilliant Room basic but clean Room facilities were good Would definitely stay again
Very clean. Warm, tea/coffee, good quality toilet roll, soap and body wash, soft towels, TV, hairdryer. Extra blankets but didn't need them.
No lift - you had to check in in one location - up one flight of stairs then go to your accommodation 3 doors down - up 2 flights of stairs and then breakfast was out of the accommodation and around the corner.
The location was very convenient. The No.16 bus from the airport dropped me right in front of the guesthouse.
Location, staff, room size
Paint was coming off the walls. Water damage to walls. Moss on walls
Love the location Really nice to be welcomed back by reception staff. WiFi available for last minute emails.
Metal blind on window suffering fatigue!!
We loved the location as it's right in the middle of Dublin and pretty much every attraction and Temple Bar are very close - walking distance within 5 - 10 mins.
The appartment was much smaller than we anticipated, but enough for 4 lads. It was very basic, there was no DVD player even though it states in the description and we requested it 3 times only to be told the very last time that there is no replacement. The bathroom was very poor, not very clean with the empty shampoo bottles left there from previous guests, we reported this to the reception who were very apologetic, but didn't do anything about despite re-assuring us they will.
The central location and the cleanliness of the room
Single room at the very top, I could open my window and not be disturbed by street noise, hotel was quiet clean and good value, breakfast in restaurant was good, will be back.
Excellent location and friendly staff. Good price. 24h reception and easy check out.
The wall had a bit of humedity but the redecoration was in process.
Amazing location. Great staff. Great breakfast!
The room has had its time interior wise and the bathroom needed a redo!
Staff are very kind. The hotel situation is very good, near Trinity College, in the center.Bus station from the airport is also near.
We stayed on the thirth floor without lift but is the same, when you are relaxed you can climb mountains!!!
Location, security, friendliness of staff.
