Central location - great for shopping and sightseeing in Dublin. We had to ask to move rooms due to the really loud noise from the nightclub opposite our room. We could hear every word the dj spoke and had very little sleep that night. Do not stay in room 311. The room was also very 'tired' - stained carpet, drain smells from the washbasin, no plug in the bath and a kettle that only worked intermittently. The room had been hoovered, but the edges were thick with dust, which had clearly gathered over many months. The reception staff were accomodating and the following morning did agree to move us, without having to make a fuss. However it was clear from their reaction, that it was not the first time someone had complained and they were aware that the noise level in that room was unacceptable - in which case why did they put us in there! I was also asked to make full payment on arrival for our 3 night stay - even before we had seen the room.

The staff were very helpful. The location is excellent for shops and Dublin city centre Night club noise - although not on on the Sunday I stayed, I might be concerned about Friday/Saturday night noise.

It was handy for the shops and tour buses The nightclub in the hotel is open Friday and Saturday night until 3pm and although our room was not near it the noise was incredibly loud and kept us awake.

reception staff very helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable, good location close to everything. On the forums people complained about the noise from the club downstairs. It was noisy for a bit, but its a club, what do you expect?! It really didnt hamper our stay there, and we found it quite useful for a late nightcap!!!

The location was fantastic - the rooms were clean and fresh - no noise at all beacause we reserved 5 th floor rooms to the back of the hotel so we were not disturbed by music from the club - Late check ot of 12 o'clock was super too !! would highly recomend it.

Location very convenient for shops and centre A warning should be given to future guests about the noise from the pubs opposite the hotel and the hotel's own bar/club. We were kept awake until 3.00am! We would not stay there again for that reason.

A small relaxing bar actually in the hotel would be an asset, but everything else was nice. No small bar for residents only in hitel.

I liked the location very much--close to the action, but giving a sense of refuge. Our room was quiet, and the staff always cheerful when they brought up the ice for our in-room cocktail hour. I was taken aback by all the pictures of the American west (where I grew up), but that added a nice surreal aspect to our stay.

Really great hotel for the price! The room was big and clean and the staff were lovely. In a fantastic location. The fire alarm went off two of the nights (of out five) that we stayed at the hotel. This is not their fault but it was a bit confusing as to whether it was a false alarm or real. Shouldn't deter anyone from staying here though...

Facilities were clean. Location was excellent. We had a good visit despite a delayed arrival. The staff would not alter our reservation and that was upsetting. I requested rooms on the 5th floor away from the elevator and facing the back so we could avoid all the noise from the bar below and across the street. Even though we made our reservation weeks before I was surprised that our request was ignored and our rooms were on the front over the bar and the other next to the elevator that was really noisy. The bar noise on the weekend was terrible. When we looked into the bar below we found that no one was in the bar except the staff playing the music loud until 2 am.

Close by St Stephens Green and Grafton street, the hotel is well located and reasonable in price. It is getting a bit frayed around the edges and could use some refurbishment but is clean and everything worked ok. It is a good place to use as a base to tour Dublin. Could have used help with our bags to our room.

The hotel had hired out the bar/nightclub to a student fresher night.Serious noise disruption until 0400 no one in the hotel had a good nights sleep my daughter had to go to university the next morning totally wrecked. This hotel also claims to be 4 star but the bar was closed other than for the party.Staff apologised for the disruption but no sign of any compensation they said it was not their fault. They could have give a free breakfast to ease the pain. Definitely will not be back or recommend to anyone.
