In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guesthouse features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

The Harcourt Hotel is in central Dublin, a 5-minute walk from St Stephens Green. It features an Italian restaurant, the D-two Bar & Nightclub and an all-weather heated beer garden.
Score from 1147 reviews Good
great location, friendly and helpful reception staff.
room cleaning very poor, curtains are pilled with dust, far over any reasonable decent hotel. Other than just an hygienic issue, seriously in danger for those with breathing problems. Dated box tv set with only 3 uninteresting channels tunned.......
Coffee making facilities in room Nice old-fashioned ambience in breakfast room
Hairdryer didn't work Too little light in room The fluorescent fitting in the only overhead lamp stopped working while we were there (but was fixed promptly) Window did not close properly Safe in room did not work (had been locked while open, so could not close) We had a triple room but were only given two sets of towels and two cups for the coffee.
Both the location and the staff were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times
Wifi only available on Floor 1 and only worked once in 3 days whilst there. Room/bathroom was too dark to put make-up on easily TV in my room was very poor. My friend in another room got more channels
No sleep . Very noisy. Told to get earplugs by reception. Menu very poor.
Walk distance to everywhere
Triple room was a double and single
We got a much better room on this occasion compared with our last stay.Happy with that!
everything was perfect, central, but not too loud. Friendly staff, clean...
Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing and overpriced.
Very comfortable stay in a great location.
Lack of wifi in the hotel room!!!
Excellent location!!! 3 minutes walk from Saint Stephen's Green park - quite in the heart of the city. Opposite is Hairy Lemon - nice pub/restaurant with tasty food and good quality of free WiFi. Comfortable beds, pillows. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Soap, body-wash. Changing towels every day. Quiet (if the windows of your room are looking to the backyard). Mostly helpful and correct staff. In the end of the week opening the pub/restaurant downstairs in the hotel - tasty food, a lot of possibilities in the bar.
The hotel has not had the renovation for a long time, it's why it is impression that it is not tidy enough. In the corridor it was strong smell of old dust. Carpets (in the rooms also) looks dirty, even if the room was cleaned. Actually, cleaning are not very strong side of this hotel. No WiFi in the room and terrible quality of WiFi in public areas.
I liked everything
The staff, the location for walking to everything: shopping, sights and pubs.
Staff was very friendly and polite. Room was comfortable, nothing fancy.
No lobby to speak of. Rather drab entrance.
Breakfast very good location good
Needs complete revamp to the rooms especially the second floor Which is alicated to smokers which Strange having a hole floor taken up for smokers could be lovely hotel it needs sorting out especially at the front of the hotel people have complained of the noise due to the club below at weekends ask for a room at the rear of hotel prefabley 4th or 5th floor
Location good. Freindly staff. Good food.
No bar Cold shower
Location was great ,the room was lovely, the staff on the reception were most helpful,
there was no parking facility, we had to park in one of the supermarket car park, for two nights it cost 36 euro's The breakfast was poor, self service and expensive 9euro
Location and breakfast
Reception staff were terse. Seemed more occupied with their computer and "turned off" to hotel guests. WiFi only available on 2nd floor
We loved staying in the area in walking distance of all of Dublin's peak attractions.
The hotel was dated. The lounge areas were in poor repair. The internet worked about half the time.
The location was great. In a perfect area to explore Dublin on foot. Right in a great foodie area. The maids were very nice and helpful.
The hotel was so tired and worn out. Nothing worked, lights, phones, toilet seats loose, no internet in the rooms. Only internet on the first floor. The restaurant was closed for remodeling, the bar was only open in the summer. The beds were not great. The staff seemed to be used to complaints, they didn't really fix anything, they just said…. yeah, sometimes that happens. Kudos to the ad agency that got those pictures, it looks great on film. In person, not so much.
The staff accommodated my every request. I felt very special when I was there. Thank you Bearta and Sarah.
The breakfast was pricey.
Breakfast was lovely The Bedroom and bathroom was great Location was excellent ATM just by the hotel
None of the bars were open Was expense for what we got No fan in bathroom Room got to hot during the night and had to open the window
Beds were very comfortable and the location was very central and useful to our needs
The nightclub attached to hotel was not opened during our stay
cleanlyness of room
Location and price was more than great.. Hotel was comfortable and ideal for the out and about traveller.. we didn't want for anything..
no parking and rip off from places near by.. but you cant avoid that in Dublin, still a happy traveller:)
Location excellent right beside shopping centre, bars, restaurants and St Stephen's Green.
Everything about this hotel is very dated. The safe was broken and the shower freezing. The bath had a huge crack on the side panel and missing tissue box, toilet roll holder, etc. Basically the bathroom was awful. The TV was one of those old fashioned sets, the single beds were uncomfortable with very light single duvets and the room was freezing. The lighting is terribke with no main light - just 2 lamps to light entire room. The wardrobe was impossible to fit anything into it and every noise could be heard plainly both internally and externally. Staff never asked how was our stay despite telling them the first morning of our faulty safe and shower. They simply ignored us. Overall this hotel is not to be recommended and at €80 a night for a twin room with no breakfast it is not cheap either.
