location, hotel good value for money
closeness to the shops, restaurants, and attractions. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on quality of food.
Very noisey at night as close to pubs, the party's didn't stop until 4am! Old hotel so paper thin walls, wouldn't take young children to this hotel. Shower kept going hot and cold!
Excellent location. Breakfast good, staff very friendly.
Some problems with bedroom. Light not working . . . telephone message button on continuous falsh. Bed broken (mattress sloping to one side causing poor sleep quality. Disco music very loud.
Fantastic location a stone's throw from Grafton Street Near lively bars and restaurants
Because it is in a very busy central location with lots of activity, it was noisy but I knew this in advance and was prepared - it didn't detract from my stay
Room was to small and very hot !!!
Convenience of location especially for our theatre _ Olympia for Van Morrison --10 min walk. Very close to cafes bars, Grafton St & Stephens Green which had a Christmas Market on.
Very large comfortable room & bathroom but very poor lighting in bedroom section. Also lift could do with a good spring clean.
Fantastic location. Great bar. Staff very very friendly and efficient.
Location. Very central, chosen so my elderly mother would feel safe.
Decor is getting tired and cleanliness not what it used to be. Parking nearby but expensive
Location amazing. Hotel has alot of charm and character. We requested a larger room, and we got just that!! It was perfect, lots of space and great view. Noise was fine, but it was weekdays. Requested late check out and was no problem! Would go back for sure!!
Nothing bothered us, so no comment here
Cold cooked breakfast, cold plates. Walls thin, kept awake by noise from next room.
Excellent location Very central
The Hotel decor is tired Not the most comfortable bed
very central, close to Grafton street, all the shopping facilities and sights. Nice pubs and restaurants just around the corner, plenty of choise if you want to go for a nice meal or drink. The rooms were comfy and clean.
Nightclub downstairs, therefore it can be quite noisy at weekends. Continental breakfast was too small and little choise.
Location, friendliness of staff Quick response when you called reception
Our rooms 518 & 519, very noisy, Saturday especially from nightclub. Sunday night and Saturday night from the constant roar sound as if boiler constantly firing up. Almost white torture.
the staff, the beds, the bar, and the location
there is nothing I didnt like
Staff very helpful and pleasant Location great but Night Club beside it very loud early morning
The hotel really needs to be Re-vamped very old and worn out looking Bathroom very old and not clean looking.
location excellent. staff fantastic. 1st floor lounge great as a meeting area. excellent location to stay if going to the local pubs and the bar/nightclub next door.
got down to breakfast at 10. I know this was slightly late but breakfast was advertised until 10.45. no bacon/meat left and staff were unable to cook more as they had run out. Everything else was dried up. Shame but again due to the location we were able to eat elsewhere.
Comfortable clean room near Grafton street shopping
This hotel is excellent value for money. The location is excellent with easy access to all attractions. Staff were really nice and helpful.
This is an old hotel and could do with freshening up but overall clean and comfortable.
Perfect location for weekend in Dublin, the bar downstairs was a great meeting point before we went to Temple Bar which was a 5 minute walk. Great staff and breakfast......
No internet access in the room but Wi-FI was available on the first floor at no additional cost.
This is a terrific wee hotel. It's very central. Shops, restaurants etc are literally on your doorstep. The Gaiety theatre is virtually on the doorstep too. We go there regularly. In fact, I'm already booked to visit in January. It's not luxurious, but very clean. The breakfast is excellent and great value too. The staff are very professional and extremely helpful. What else does one need?
Can't find a thing about which to complain.
The location was great
The beds were stuck together, one being higher than the other. Window didn't close properly as it was old so there was a draft coming into the room all night. Basic amenities in the bathroom was not there ie Shampoo, face cloths. The overall feeling of the room and bathroom was not necessarily dirty, but definetly outdated and grubby. With no wifi or parking, the extra we had to pay would have seen us in a much nicer hotel.
Great location, friendly helpful staff.
Very friendly receptionist. No delay checking in or out. Comfortable room
TV channels were very poor.
Location excellent, comfortable beds, room clean and warm
Some minor cosmetic work needed to room
Extremely noisy at night due to it's central location,
