Grand Hotel  

The staff in this hotel make the hotel in my opinion. The manager is very approachable and quick to solve any problems you may have. The bar staff is also very friendly even under pressure with functions they take everything in there stride. They are very friendly and very accomadating. Good staff are hard to come by, but with the staff here, it makes the stay more special.They have attention to detail that so many other hotels lack in. Food is very good and quick, For a stay over and some hot food with a friendly face at the bar this is the perfect hotel.

Location Price

Breakfast was served too late. It would be better to start at 7:oo or 7:30 am to allow guests to travel on with a breakfast to early Dublin meetings. Also there was no hot water to shave or have a shower in the morning.

Nothing about the place I didn't like.

it was a bit cold in the room, i could hear the toilets and showers in every room near me, not at all private, big gap under the room door, overall not a great hotel

I liked the bed and pillows, very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the owner sorted out a heating issue in my room without any delay. It is an old fashioned hotel, with real people working there.

I have nothing but great things to say about the hotel, everything was perfect.

Reception staff were very friendly and chatty when checking in and checking out. very helpful

Very friendly & helpful staff. Accommodation was of a very good size, very clean and of a past style. Some may think decor a bit outdated but it is not worn in any way. Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice, quality and delivery. Outstanding value.

There was a disco either in the hotel or nearby so noisy but not till too late

perfect for the purpose of my stay...was working in Gort that day and needed a place to stay along the route to Dublin..32 euro for a nice sleep in a clean room is what I was looking for and I got that here.

Excellent hotel, perfectly located for what I was doing. My first stay at the Grand and it is likely that I will be back in the near future. Impressed.

The staff were very nice, we got upgraded to a bigger room on arrival. They were very helpful, I was surprised at how nice the room was. First trip away with our 8 month old daughter and they made it easier!

We found that the staff were very friendly and nothing was any bother to them. A good place to stay for a night on way to the west

There are too many steps in this hotel found it quite dangerous needs steps painted different colour from the floor.

Zimmer waren kalt, ebenso wurde im Frühstücksraum erst zu unserem Frühstücks beginn (um 8:00 Uhr) angeheizt und die Tische hergerichtet.
