Staff were very friendly and professional.
vegetarian choice was very poor and quality was also poor for dinner and breakfast.
The very friendly and helpful. Staff
The lack of free wifi
Breakfast was fab
I feel that there should be free wifi in the hotel
Great views from the bedroom window , and a fine walk to the town , and the price off dinner was very affordable I would go back over and over again
Position of hotel View of the sea Tea and coffee facilities After dinner coffee
Thought the swimming pool could have been cleaner Cooked breakfast not as hot as it could have been Quite expensive
Quality of breakfast was poor
location , decor and character of the hotel
the bed was not as comfortable as i would like . also we could hear the man in next room snoring all night.
Miserable breakfast served by uncommunicative and grumpy staff who seem to think the customers are a nuisance.
Location, location, location. Great view of the coast from the room booked (executive double). Cot was prepared in the room when we arrived (other 4*/5* hotels in Dublin wait until you arrive then tell you no cots available!!). Bar staff in the Matt Ryan bar were very good and very attentive.
Waiting for hotel staff to help us with our luggage when we arrived. WiFi has to be paid for in the hotel! Shower curtain above the bath is too close to the shower (as a result the curtain sticks to your body).
staff, location, facility
Bed too small for 2, should have a bar with a view bigger than the small room
Excellent location, Delicious unlimited breakfast, Free parking, Near the city and airport, Clean, neat and comfortable, Comfortable, quite rooms, Super friendly staff ... Home with no worries
I'm a repeat guest because there are no negatives.
Fantastic location, great atmosphere and very comfortable room.
The lobby and bar area were beautiful.
The bedroom was old worn and outdated, big let down.
Great swimming pool breakfast very good staff very friendly
Paying for wifi
Loved the view from our room looking out on the water also the pool .This hotel has a lovely atmosphere and great position in the town Have stayed here lots of time never tire of it great experience every time
Cereals, fruit and juice were very good.
Toast not toasted had to be sent back and scrambled eggs tasteless lacking a little salt when being cooked.
3 oclock check in and room still not ready till 4 o clock
Every thing was good easy for access to the city of Dublin staff very helpful.
Location, room, breakfast
Long long delay at check in.very cold at breakfast as air conditiong on.ordered coffee scones etc at about 11.30 for visiting family, and it took about 1 hour, Also there were other family with same surname staying in hotel, and one member requested his key ay about 11pm, and at 3am it was discovered he had been given key of other family, caused upset, as everyone was unsure initially of " man " in their bed.so advice make sure you always give your first name as well as your surname.
staff telling lies
The front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok.
it wasn't worth the money at all! room #321 was terrible and not worth 160€!!!
liked the location and the hotel. Everything was just lovely. Very happy. Will definitely go back.
Everything. The staff were superb, not only professional but very kind and helpful as well.
I love the presentation of The Grand Hotel: from the classy seating in reception, to the floweral arrangements throughout. The breakfast was lovely with a wide choice to eat.
On turning down our sheets to climb into bed, I found a splattering of marks on the base sheet on one side of the bed. My side! Upon closer inspection, the sheets had been washed, pressed, but the stains had still remained. It was too late in the evening to draw anyone's attention to this, but I did draw it to the attention of a member of staff at reception when we were checking out. It was not a big issue, but I would not have had this in my own home.
