The hotel in general malahide itself has a lot to offer just a very special area.
The room we stayed in this time number 111 no view and very warm even with the rad turned off
bed a bit too hard
I loved the location, the ambience, the room, friendly and helpful staff (except the barman needs to smile!!) Dinner and breakfast was excellent!!
The huge sparse reception area!! A bit like an airport!! One of the bars!! Not sure the name but it was not what i would have expected and not very inviting to sit in!!!
There were 7 adults and 2 children ranging in age from 11 months - 86 years of age. It was a pre Christmas break and we were able to combine the Christmas sights in Dublin with a relaxing wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. We would definately recommend it.
There was nothing that we did not like
Didn't like the fact u had to pay for WiFi in this day and age!
Staff very pleasant and obliging. We are regular visitors and were given an upgrade to a beautiful executive room with great view and very comfortable bed. Great customer service, we will be back soon. Also great breakfast.
Friendly staff, lovely Christmas decorations!
Bedroom and bathroom were very cold.
Everything was to the highest standard possible
Very clean & spacious room with nice atmosphere & excellent breakfast.
Bar food was slightly pricey and tasted just ok!
the bed was a bit on the small side
Wifi was timed and poor.
food good choice and wedntell presented.
lounge too small
This is our second stay in this hotel and I can't praise it enough. Excellent location, dart station is 10 minutes walk if you want to go to dublin city centre however plenty of restaurants shops and bars in malahide also. Hotel staff excellent really friendly and helpful. Cant wait to stay again!
location, coast resturant, leisure centre, friendly hardworking staff
no live music in the bar
Everything, staff, food, location, parking all excellent.
TV not great but everything else is superb
We can't rate this hotel highly enough. Just perfect. Every staff member was lovely and helpful. A few minutes walk to the centre of the village. Ask for a large room with a sea view.
Would be good to have had some entertainment.
The grand must be the only hotel to charge for wifi
Hotel was very welcoming and comfortable. We had a lovely relaxing week end. Very sure we will go back again. Not so far from home, so we don't spend a lot of time travelling. Food was also excellent.
Lovely ambiance in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and had taken the time to read our booking form! They gave us a sea view as requested plus an upgrade which we did not request. We had probably the best room in the hotel and were welcomed with a fruit and chocolate platter and birthday card. -Brilliant
Not long enough! We only booked one night -should have been longer. We like free Wifi but no big deal the free 30 minutes is enough to cover essentials
Friendly staff, clean and warm with great leisure facilities. Easy to get too with good travel links into dublin. Excellent quality restaurants in hotel and in malahide aswell.
One point. Noisy radiators when heating comes on at 0630 hrs and no room thermostat.
Hotel close to marina and plenty places to eat, also close to bus and trains for transport into Dublin centre
I have no complaints
Only stayed one night but wish it had been longer. Lovely friendly staff, good sized room and, my favourite, squishy feather pillows. Very relaxed stay.
I emailed the grand in advance to request a bottle of champagne to be place in the room as we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday. The staff were very helpful and also included some chocolates and a card. Love this place such a special feel about it especially coming up to christmas
Beautiful location by the sea and lovely village
